When will paid transfers to whitemane be available?
EDIT: After reading that SoM can transfer anywhere they want, I’ve realized this is a lost cause. You guys hate your customers. You just want our money. You have zero desire to provide a good experience. I have characters on whitemane. I have characters on Faerlina I want to move over. What is the point of locking transfers on servers when a person is already playing on that server??? Do you not see how monumentally stupid that policy is?

over 9000 for sure xD they dont give a shiitt about our classic community obviously. I have multiple friends who un subbed because they cant xfer here to sulfuras and play with me and a few others. Blizzard is really dropping the ball on this. Must be too worried about Dragonflight. Lulzzz
So worried they added a 12 month sub bundle just in case df turns out shtty

Whitemane hasnt had a que since even before wotlk came out. Why is it still restricted ? I had to waste my 70 boost just to play on there with my friends

Quite pathetic and saddening to see the way Blizzard has addressed the server situations. Which was by completely ignoring it. There’s a very big issue here where people were forced to transfer out of the servers they all played on with their friends, and are stuck on servers that they know nobody or are simply dead. They’re unable to play the game with their friends, and do activities such as arenas, etc. They don’t want to resolve this at all by enabling cross realm content or opening the locked servers that CLEARLY haven’t had queues in WEEKS. So many people have unsubbed for this reason, and there’s a very simple and EASY solution to all of it.

Have been playing alone since pre WotLK launch because I can’t pay to transfer to Pagle because I missed the deadline by 6 hours. I’m just gonna unsub, I think it’s time.

This is insane, the fact that server transfers are still closed on so many servers that have dwindling populations is leading to an exodus of players that just want to transfer to a server they already have other character’s on, or a server where their friends are playing on. Blizzard would literally be making money charging people for character transfers while also increasing subscription retention rates, but instead they leave server transfers closed and make no effort to listen to the community’s concerns. Trying to voice your concerns to Blizzard about this issue is like yelling at a brick wall, your concerns are not making it to anyone that matters ultimately. Reading through the forums it seems many are in the same boat, if they don’t open up server transfer soon, why continue playing the game and paying for the subscription. If only someone could make Blizzard realize how much money they are missing out on, then maybe they would go ahead and open up server transfers, but at this point, it seems Blizzard will just continue to do the opposite of whatever the community is rallying for.
Launch and queues are a thing of the past now and as a north america french guild, there is a lot of players like us that wish to transfer to our server but can’t. The server is Mankrik. Why paid character transfers are not allowed yet on our server? We still miss some players to our 25 raiding group and 12 wish to join us because they can’t find players of the same native language on their actual server. It would be perfect for all of us and are waiting on it.
Can you please take a look at data and reconsider this. Classic is and will stay our main focus so we just need this to enjoy it at the most.

You say the restriction will be lifted when there is no queues and Whitemane has not had a Q since launch and yet still cant be transferred to sucks a lot of friends trying to join and there isn’t and has never been a queue for Whitemane but its still locked… why?

I come back to wow, find my friends’ server locked, I start playing on a soon to be dead server in hopes they will unlock friends’ server so I can join them. Two months pass by and not a single update on this thread, this is BEYOND RIDICULOUS, I won’t be renewing my subscription this month and congratulations on ruining an epic game. Maybe you guys expect me to convince a guild of 50+ players to move to another server (they moved to Faerlina cause the two previous servers we were playing in were dead!) and now because I couldnt play this game for a while and didn’t make it to Faerlina, I can’t rejoin them for the best expansion there is. PATHETIC!
Not to mention I wanted to level alts, but why would I do that? To pay you another big sum to later transfer them to the server I wanna play in (that is if that ever happens). PATHETIC!
Please open up Grobbulus!!! Would love to play with my real life friends but they can’t even make a new character there!!! The realms are calm now!! Reopen the realms!!
