All i can say is if they dont do it on this next reset or the one after then im finished. if i cant play the game with my friends then whats the point in playing at all? Theres DF but I have no interest in playing it cause its always the same Big hype into a big release just to realize its going to be ruined by the same stuff the previous xpac’s have had and i know im not alone on that one…its sad to say that but the past few years its been a disappointment and i know im not the only one…crossing my fingers for the next update good luck all!

This is beyond ridiculous at this point. I was understanding for the first week or two to manage the queues, but the queues are gone, Naxx has been put on farm already, and I still don’t have a max level because I’m twiddling my thumbs waiting to be able to play with my friends on Sulfuras. Unlock the servers already!

@kaivax Is it possible to get a simple answer on this subject? There are several forums topics that are on this specific subject that have surpassed a thousand posts. Would not be surprised if many players unsubscribe do to the lack of interest the company has in their player base.

After spending weeks convincing my friends to purchase and subscribe to the game they finally all did, but they couldn’t make characters on Skyfury bc it was locked so they made characters on Angerforge. The free (or even paid) transfer options were not available at that point. SO… how am I supposed to play with the group of friends I convinced to play, who now all play without me?? how is this even allowed to be possible? who makes these decisions? can I please remote vc in to offer constructive criticism during the next meeting to discuss this? please advise. You are about to lose so many players for the silliest reason (if there is one). Allow free (or paid) transfers between fresh servers (the original one, and the one created to accommodate original overpopulation). Save the WOTLK Classic Fresh Servers (Skyfury & Angerforge)!!! …before your decisions cause further player loss. Currently Skyfury is poppin compared to dead ol’ (environment & economy) Angerforge.

Unlock Whitemane. I have three characters on Whitemane and a 70 warlock just wasting away on Eranikus. Whitemane doesn’t even show up as a locked server, yet Eranikus does. It makes no sense that I can have several characters on a server but cannot move my other one here even though it would be the same amount of people taking up a space on Whitemane: one.

I don’t pay to play the game I pay to play with friends. Can’t play with friends due to server locks. Cancelling subscription upon next renewal as there is nothing worth paying for with locked servers.

That said I’m totally against fresh wotlk classic servers EVER allowing transfers from previously existing servers.
Server queues are gone. Please move one intern off of the dragonflight team to look at these very odious and apparent issues. Thanks!

Imagine how many more people would play the game and how much more money Blizzard would make if they just got out of their own way. The fact that server transfers are still closed on so many servers that have dwindling populations is leading to an exodus of players that just want to transfer to a server they already have other character’s on, or a server where their friends are playing on. Blizzard would literally be making money charging people for character transfers while also increasing subscription retention rates, but instead they leave server transfers closed and make no effort to listen to the community’s concerns. Trying to voice your concerns to Blizzard about this issue is like yelling at a brick wall, your concerns are not making it to anyone that matters ultimately. Reading through the forums it seems many are in the same boat, if they don’t open up server transfer soon, why continue playing the game and paying for the subscription. If only someone could make Blizzard realize how much money they are missing out on, then maybe they would go ahead and open up server transfers, but at this point, it seems Blizzard will just continue to do the opposite of whatever the community is rallying for.

IMHO, if you’re going to allow free character transfers to a realm like Bloodsail Buccaneers, you should be able to transfer there from any higher population server, not just specific ones. A group of us are on Ashkandi, which has shifted heavily to horde and is becoming increasingly frustrating to play on due to that. 1 - it’s harder to get pugs on the Alliance side, and 2 - there’s decent horde players but also a lot of a-holes who will do what they can to make your gaming life difficult.
If we could do a free character transfer, we would have moved already rather than being “stuck” where not everyone can afford to transfer multiple high-level toons. If you want a lower-pop server to thrive, then take away the specific realms you can transfer from.
And for the love of the game, let us transfer our guild banks with us!
