Blizzard why dont you offer us a guarantee like offer those who transfer get x number of free transfers from that server for if it fails like it will over time. Like most others have already which is why we paid to transfer off or give us our money back from our previous transfers. No you wont do that cuase this is a hustle

oh my lord, why dont you invest for a better server infrastructure instead? is it that hard? or too expensive for you? like come on man, not every person wanted to transfer their character, and also what you gonna do if the destination server become full and eventually need to q as well?
No you canât. That new realm is for mega server transfers only.
according to a weakaura, the faction balance is still 35/65 on sulf

Hereâs a serious solution
Cross Realm Arena + Cross realm PVE (Random Dungeon Finder?) Tons of people including myself would transfer off these mega servers instantly.
If you canât increase server capacity, this is the true solution.

So if benediction locked yet I have a character on that is supposed to be restored on it, but wont restore, I cant make a new character, and I cant play the game. What am I supposed to do. This is ridiculous the only people I know are on benediction
Please consider letting the Sulfuras transfers have a bigger window. There is nothing wrong with having a small queue for the overall health of a server is better long term (meaning, let people convince their guilds to transfer). I donât think Sulfuras will survive long term if the transfer window closes early.

With news of Grobbulus turning off character creation, that shut down my friend groupâs ability to bring in players that werenât going to start until launch of WotLK.
So we decided those of us that have characters right now will just bite the bullet and transfer to Sulfuras, so we began those transfers. Just learned that there is a 72 hour wait time before you can transfer a boosted character, so we have characters transferring now, but we have two in our group that wonât be able to transfer until after they shut off transfers for Sulfuras.
Got pushed to transfer by one Blizz solution, and now we have our group split by a pre-emptive Blizz solution.

I agree with the above - please give us some time before closing Sulfuras. You want us to transfer off and you say that itâs closing the next day? Our guild canât make that decision so quickly, since no one can reliably get on at the same time to discuss and Discord is not available to all. Please wait until the end of the week to close Sulfuras

If you are making a new server, can we get a forum for threads there? Mostly to see who and what guilds are planning on moving and if it is a viable option for us?
I transfred to sulfuras already, and i joined benediction in classic when it was first made. I have every right to complain. Stop typing to me, you are making yourself look⌠well.

Your punctuation, spelling, and snobby know it all white knighting says quite a bit about you. If you werent someone stuck on one of these mega servers⌠why are you here putting your poorly typed 2 cents in?

I know itâs not a popular term but itâs the only realistic option that both addresses the issue and is fair for the majority of each serverâs population. The only other options are incentives for players to move which will very likely only make a small impact to queue times and population. My solution wouldnât be applied at random or to just anyone - it only applies specifically to the thousands of new transfers and new accounts that were made on these servers in the past month. This never should have been an issue to begin with as these servers should have been locked/restricted when they reached capacity but thereâs no use talking about that now.
Itâs much more fair to the players to move the most recent accounts/transfers off these servers than it is to pit players against each other in a waiting game to see who transfers first. As Aggrend already mentioned, the queue times and populations are only going to get worse when Wrath fully launches, not better. What Iâd like to see is a post such as âHey, if we donât see enough transfers off these servers a few days before Wrath launch, then weâll be moving the most recently created accounts and most recent transfers off these servers to alleviate congestion.â
I donât see any other realistic solution that solves these major queue times while being fair to the majority of the playerbase.
