This is something they have done and continue to do. It’s nothing new, but people want to play this game still (???). Pay your dues and then pay for their negligence. Can’t imagine how bad the actual launch day will be considering it’s far too early for any of this gimmick to work by then.
I feel sorry for people actually trying and planning a community only for Blizzard to come in and crap all over it with typical panic mode hot fixes.
Do this for Mankrik. Either allow the alliance to leave or transfers into Mankrik Alliance because it’s dead.
idk it shows that even after the transfer that there is sitll 10000 to many on servers. Wonder why they allowed that to happen instead of closing off transfers or new account chars to them.

the people who are saying 1. “if you don’t like the way the servers are run then leave” or 2. “if you don’t like the servers that are available for free transfer then pay for one” or 3. “this is the fault of the players” are, in my opinion, a little naive. 1. i don’t like how the server issues have been handled but i’ve invested dozens of hours and over $1000 into this game and i’m not even a sweaty player. people who pay money for a service are allowed to criticize the goings on of the supplier of the service. 2. no, i don’t like the servers that are available for free transfer and yes, i’ve already paid probably $400 in character transfers (my first 2 servers became so horde-dominated that i couldn’t play the game and my 3rd server became so dead that, again, i was not able to play the game-- then i got to pay for a transfer again when they merged the servers and put my alliance characters on another horde server, yay!) since classic; they’ve had almost 3 years to find a solution or even some PREVENTATIVE measures to keep the servers from being dead/imbalanced (see: completely impossible to play on) and yet i am paying copious amounts of money in order to compensate for blizzard’s negligence. 3. players should not be blamed because they transferred off of servers that weren’t fun to play on because all of them are so poorly managed or because blizzard allowed massive amounts of people to transfer to put a 1 week bandaid on a wound that’s been festering for years. i am not a person who knows a lot about the intricacies of server maintenance but let’s not pretend there isn’t ANY WAY blizzard could’ve come up with ANY KIND of solution after all this time. they should have plenty of money stowed away from all those years of paying their female employees unfairly!!! come on y’all, stop fighting each other and hold the negligent millionaires accountable instead.
What about Earthfury? This server has been Low population for awhile now, auction house only has 1000-2000 items at a time, I cannot even buy enchanting materials, level professions, dungeons or raids. Why hasn’t there been free character transfers to Earthfury? It’s a East coast PVP server, just like Benediction but for some reason you decided to open a brand new server and not allow transfers to Earthfury.
Are there any plans to add free character migration to Earthfury and if not, what are the plans for this unpopulated server?
Some stuff can’t be solved via implenting a few item’s, the players themselves were the ones that flocked hea ily to these realms full well knowing this would happen.
I’m sorry to give you the bad news… but Earthfury had their free transfer. I found out late so I had to transfer to Grob… and now love it there. My guild… they went to Faerlina . m o.O On a different note… I thought Earthfury was a bot/farm server now

if you just added cross-realm, im sure majority of people would be more inclined to move servers. But with-out it, there’s no way im leaving my friends to join another server. I’d rather wait in the queue.

Yeah man. Dev already told us that they want to save our personal Communites that each server has even though let people transfer as long as they pay for the most part. Its funny to be that said No LFG finder was bad so everyone triedto get on a server with alot of players now its back fireing.
I resubbed for WOTLK to find Earthfury completely dead, they wont do free transfers because they already did them, is that what you are saying? I have to pay money for a transfer since I was late on free transfers? Either I transfer or play on Earthfury where there’s no dungeons or raids? Server is near unplayable unless you want a single player experience T.T I may as well just unsub. lol

Question for ya champ, how am I going to log into my character before that cut off time to get rid of my mail for the transfer to follow the guild? Sit there for another 6-8 hours at night? You wont let me follow them for free with mail but you sure as hell will try to take the $25 from me once Im actually able to log on past the cut off time and remove the mail.
Sorry to hear that… but it definitely is a choice. If this dodo isnt worked out by re-sub-time comes around… no more wotlk 4 me. Hey… you could always farm stuff on a dead server and make it worth the cash transfer.

Grobb people didn’t have any RP options at all, and some people really like RP.
I took the transfer from Faerlina Horde to Eranikus (moved ALL of my characters) and there are 22 people according to my census addon. Any chance I can get an assist to maybe a server that doesnt trick people? The server is “locked” not allowing any new characters to be made so I couldnt test out before moving toons and now I have 0 people to play with
