I have an old WoW account but want to create a new one, any way to transfer my gold from inactive account to my new account without purchasing a subscription for the old one?
For simply transferring gold, not likely no. You’d need to add some game time to the inactive account in order to move the gold between the accounts.

Submit a support ticket asking for a day of game time to transfer gold. They might say no, but if you don’t ask, the answer will never be yes.

I want to add that, depending on how much gold you’re thinking of moving, a Blizzard token may make more sense.
