Is it possible to transfer a character between two different battle.net accounts? I’m wondering because I have two battle.net accounts.
I know it says “between two Blizzard accounts” but I’m not sure if battle net is considered a “Blizzard” account that can be transfered between.
I’m not planning any immient move, but asking this question to consider my options. Another issue I’m having is that I have only one phone number & can’t use one on both accounts. I know it’s kind of silly but I would like to find a way to get those 4 backpack slots in retail. Is there a way to combine two battlenet accounts into one?
Thanks for any replies.
It is possible to move characters between accounts so long as they share the same name, yes.
Choose “Blizzard Account” from the drop down for a list of limitations.

Do you mean my real name? The two accounts share everything except the emails and one doesn’t have a phone number because it can’t be used on two.
While it is heavily advised that you use your real name for your account information, if you use a fake name the other account needs to use the same fake name.

Ya they are under my real life name. According to the rules it’s looking like it’ll work. I’m planning on moving about two characters in about 10 days (when Im going shopping for food in town, and can also grab a Blizz balance card- the pandemic is why my plans are delayed) I’ll update here to let you know how it goes when I do it. I appreciate your response.

Just a note since you’re posting on a Classic character, transfers between battle.net accounts is only available to retail characters, not Classic.

To touch on this - kind of. You can’t combine the battle.net accounts, but you can move a warcraft account from one to the other. They aren’t always willing to do this, but they often will. Just keep in mind that a lot of things you earn on a warcraft account actually get bound to the bnet, so moving a warcraft account off, you will leave behind most of your mounts, etc. Having accounts for games other than warcraft on said bnet account complicate things as those generally can’t be moved.

Yes I have done it.
Have to be of the same last name, cannot do it from region to region such as US to EU…unless they have changed that.
You can transfer an entire account to a brand new battle net account as I have done or even just a toon to a new battlenet account as i have also done
Charter specific mounts and achievements will not go over if you transfer only that toon over. Such as if I were to move a 1x glad over to some brand new account who had world firsts and 30k achievement points, the toon moved over would be pretty much empty with very few titles and ONLY the achiement points that THAT toon earned, not any that any other of your toons earned.
If you got an account bound Khan or Batttlemaster then moving it to a new battlenet will remove you from that titles unless you got 100% of that title on that toon… Unless it has changed.
Mailing in between battle net accounts is instant I believe. Tickets are shared within them.
There is a coldown on it.
Got to be matching last name unless it is a verified family member or relative.
They have not, so you are correct.
One character at a time, unless you got Blizzard’s help moving a license to a different blizzard account.
Account bound stuff won’t move, but some character specific mounts, achievements should move, I believe the faq support page explains it in limitations.
Only on the same account, unless you have all your characters in the same guild, guild members also share the instant mail perk.
Technically no. All transfers must be only for the same person who owns both accounts. Giving, gifting or selling characters is not allowed by the system, and there is no way in the automated system to “Verify” a family member.
