It’s so funny to me when people say dumb stuff like this
because people say the same about my company…as if I’m not working there…and LGBTQ+…and on the LGBTQ+ committee…making these exact kind of inclusive changes

This isn’t the “gotcha!” you think it is.
Taking an existing character and modifying them to be something else is the opposite of inclusivity. Just make an original character. Surely that isn’t too hard? I’m all for inclusivity but doing it this way just generates totally avoidable animosity from the “get woke, go broke” crowd.

I have no idea who you’re talking about here so I can’t debate the merits of it. But characters, much like people, simply are LGBTQ+. They don’t need to announce it every waking moment, and there’s no reason to believe that every character isnt possibly LGBTQ+ unless you’re some how biggotly opposed to the idea

Will not let me link for some reason but according to the 2022 Census of American Religion it is actually 86% of the population. With 71% identifying as Christian, 50% of them being Protestant and 27% Evangelical, you can look up the rest.

If you’re doing just the US you’re even wrong there too, it’s down to 63% for Christian.
