That isn’t true and they are not BlizZard products so they run more risk by using those outlets.

That is a bit excessive, do people really not care about renown that much in this game that you have to extend it, and actually force people who hate DR to do it?

might just be me but the dev in the rogue discord might be the one who communicates the most. Not sure about the others.
Then it’s basically pointless. Most players will be in ZC or the Dream, since those are the most recently released zones.
What a crockload of crap this is. IMO, Pathfinder has always been crap, but requiring it in DF is even worse, considering that DR has been available since DF release. All of the stated reasons for Pathfinder have been negated by dragonriding, so there’s really no reasons left except pettiness, spite, hubris, and just plain old hatred for the player.

If I was Blizzard I would have just said this was done in part to curb botting.
Apparently people were playing ZC incorrectly. BlizZard please explain how ZC is intended to be played?

I could still find use for it since I delayed a lot of content, pet and toy collecting, etc while waiting for flying. BUT I don’t want to grind ED rep to 15 if I can’t fly there, that’s just a slap in the face that makes me reconsider playing at all.

I mean flying has always had some sort of requirement so this makes sense. But earning all 15 renown for every DF zone just for this to be the last season is excessive. Why not make it like a quest or how ZM did it?

That was the hypothesis argued before the launch of DF. But now botting is worse without TBC flying available in DF zones or it seems that way!

Maybe they felt that making players grind the new zone rep would burn players out? But if you can use DR in the new zone but not TBC flying…well BlizZard you have a lot of explaining to do.

I see bots for afk killing mobs in brackenhide areas for mats to sell on AH but I have yet to spot bots flying from node to node endlessly.
Node to node bots have definitely been reigned in
They exist but I can not say how it is done as that is against the rules.
Lets just say that they voom voom are super fast now node to node.

I won’t have to do old content all over to get it. It’s account-wide usually, and I only have to do the new content to earn it. Not sure where it requires repeating old content, that would already be done at this point for most. If people just came back, it would be all new content. Seriously, I double checked, and I only need the Explore the Emerald Dream and Dream Wardens to unlock it.
For real, I thought it was for one zone and everyone was being dramatic but 15 for every single damn zone is ridiculous. I’d understand it if it was the beginning of the season but seeing how this is the last season before the expansion ends is excessive. And don’t get me wrong, I don’t care if I have to earn 15 renown because I’m not going to bother because i don’t ever want to go back to dr

if we did all the other storylines and exploration achievements, i think that is sufficient to show we put in the work to earn normal flying.

But then why not be able to use TBC flying in the new zone? I guess we will find out!
I log on and play just about every day. When Pathfinder was announced, I had to start rep grinding. So I’m not playing the game?
