Trading Post is just a subscription reward system?

They want you subscribed, and logging in.

Other games in the past have had this…Seems no different…

You only get credit for logging in/collecting currency, with side quest for more…

So lets say they throw the Brutosaur up there…for like 30K…will take a year or more to earn it…

Veterans will already have it…so there will be other HIGH value items…

Players will ahve to decide if they want to save for the Brut, that gives as AH, or buy some other super amazing thing…

Imagine transmogs…just gonna throw this out there…

FROSTMOURNE.

Enough said. How many DKS will sink a ton of sub time, and play into getting that???

Young players think of this like a Game Pass…but really all the OS MMOs had player rewards for sub time…this is exactly that, but being able to choose the rewards, since not every sub grab has something amazing players want. Now you can choose, and depending on how long/often you play…you can plan to get certain rewards.

It’s basically Old Republic Cartel Coins. It’s not a battle pass.

ok ill bite wtf is a trading post??

Also brings up interesting options considering DF Launch…

Want a bunch of coins? Watch MDI, AWC, WF Race, Twitch Streams, etc…

Any 24/7 player will eventually have all the things they want, but gives casual players that will maybe keep a subscription running, and log in once in awhile, a reason to stay.

Better than just an actual cash shop grab imo.

i like the idea…if they sell raid and arena gear.

The amount of people trying to throw shade on this before it’s even hit the PTR is honestly mind boggling…

Why does it matter if you get a little of the reward from logging in once a month? Aren’t you…doing that anyway? It’s an MMO, and a relatively grindy one designed around regularly logging in. So you get the free 500 tokens for playing the game, plus more if you want to do the little tasks. Why is that bad? If you aren’t logging in once a month, then why are you paying for a monthly subscription?
