Yeah, it’s pretty lame stuff. We used to get mounts and full mogs as completion rewards too now we’re getting pets and 1 back mog.

Real men/protectors don’t like flowers…?
Ya’ll been to some military history museums? Cuz the ones I’ve been to there’s flowers, vines and flower petal flourishes engraved, embellished and etched into all kinds hilts, pommels and barrels, carrying cases, straps and powder horns of real men’s weapons for millenia. Obviously the more ornate ones were often owned by nobles or higher ranking officers; but there’s plenty of death dealing weapons all prettied up with flowers and fauna a plenty. Two of my fav are:
Ghengis Khan’s Swords
Ulysses. S. Grant’s set of Colts
You can Google for hours. Or even better, go to said museums in person. The artistry and detail we plaster on our weapons takes them from ordinary slabs of metal to masterworks.
Flowers are metal AF.
I swore to myself I was gonna be done with reading these forums for the summer, and then I hit a pile of office lag mid work week.

Regardless - I picked up Pokee, and the bee pet, grabbed the Midnight and Brick cloaks, and also got the sunflower staff. Pretty good so far. I have the galleon mount frozen from last month, and I may get that with the tenders I get for this month.
I don’t particularly care if something looks “cool” or “cute”. I like plenty of things that people wouldn’t expect I would like. If something is “cool”, I’ll use it. If something is “cute”, I’ll use it. If something fits a certain aesthetic for a character, I’ll use it.
If I don’t like something, I’m not going to waste my tenders on it - There’s tons of mounts I’ve skipped out on because I don’t collect mounts. I make sure to grab the pets because I like those, and if I can’t afford to get them when they’re there, I freeze them for the next go around.
