If your spouse goes out and drops 20k on a bass boat, and you end up defaulting on your home loan because of it, it’s totally Bass Trackers fault! They preyed on him!
Evil, greedy corporation should have sold them to people addicted(lmao) to fishing for $29.99. Since that’s the price of a fishing licence, anything else would be exploiting! Because inflation!
The point the OP is making is that anything in the game should be available through missions/quests/achievement rewards etc. By players paying for the game/expacs and subs. They should have all game elements accessible to them in normal gameplay.
It’s a mount. It’s optional. You don’t have to buy it. The only thing you’ll be missing out on if you don’t buy it is a mount.
You aren’t missing any game content whatsoever.
I’m 100% convinced that the people who are upset by this are the unemployed people who sit at home all day playing WoW 18 hours a day farming gold so they can buy tokens to feed their addiction and tokens are more expensive now, so they’ll just have to play the game and farm like a full time job like they’ve been doing all this time anyway.

Shortcuts like this mount, boosts, transfers, are bad for progression based MMOs. People wonder why the game doesn’t feel the same as it used to? Cash shop is why.
Most people that play a monthly sub based game have jobs. It has nothing to do with the fact it cost money. It’s the amount. It’s the price of a full game. Could buy food for a week with that amount. They are a greedy company. Microsoft is no different then Bobby himself. They are probably even worse.
It’s also ironic you are digging at people for not having jobs when the US is in the state it’s in right now lol. Typical of a person that has no clue what’s going on around them in the real world.
