Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur $90.00 Ripoff!

$90 is not a sign of a ‘whale’. I’d say if it was a $500 mount, but not $90.

$90 is a monthly Spectrum internet bill.

So…is it that most people have jobs, or is that they don’t and can’t afford a mount bc you think the US is in a bad state. Which is it?

So don’t buy it. The end.

Again.

The only people mad about this are the unemployed who play WoW 18 hours a day farming gold who can buy this mount with tokens that they buy with gold they farm while playing all day.

And maybe four large pizzas, depending on where you get them, lol

Only if the game goes F2P cause it’s on the way out, and they want to milk that dried up cow for all she’s got left before it goes to slaughter.

All companies are ‘greedy’…theyre ALL in it o make money.
Its about what the market will bear.
The last Bruto was $500+ in tokens.
This one is 90 bucks.
Id say thats a deal by comparison.

They knew they could get us to pay $90 and so thats the price.

I would hope someone in financial dire straights wouldnt be wasting money on a PC, internet, video games in the first place

I miss the days where the only money you spent was buying the game. The only “Pay to win” were magazines that you would read on the crapper before we all used our phones.

Ahh good old days of gaming.

You are the bad take king on the forums…but for once you have a good take.

I guess you are another one that has no clue. People have jobs but things cost so much that they can’t afford to pay for things like food and bills. It’s called inflation. Blizzard is obviously clueless to this and so are you. Things like inflation don’t affect the rich. It doesn’t hit them as hard. So they don’t care. They just keep taking advantage of the little guy.
This is a clear instance of the clueless people that run Blizzard/Microsoft.
You can have a job and not afford something at the same time. Man people are just clueless.

you should be directing your ire at your employer then. they are the ones who are exploiting and taking advantage of you.

entertainment companies offering an optional service to make money is the least of your concerns.

What some of you are failing to understand now…these store mounts and battle pets help keep our sub rate at the same price its been for over 20 yrs now…$14.99 since day 1 in 2004 when it went live…the sub rate would be much higher by if no shop mounts…I mean inflation is hitting everything esp now …but game sub stays the same.

So don’t.

Buy.

The.

Mount.

It’s not any more complicated than this.

Or you could look at it the other way. People not being able to afford entertainment because of the state of the economy would cause the population as a whole to have increased depression and the (other bad things) to happen.
Keep raising prices and paying less wages and see what happens. Kids with 100k+ debt right out of school, can’t buy a house, can’t afford food, and on top of that the entertainment industry is joining in to make that impossible to afford, buy hiking box prices and everything else.

No nothing wrong here. Just move on. lol what a joke.

Lmao people used this same argument with D4 cosmetics, a gear based game, now D4 is basically dead, hey the game made a lot of money but the playerbase is effectively dead, with a new expansion… If this is what you want for WoW I dont know what to tell you, we arent the same type of player as I actually like achieving things not buying them.

You’re screaming at the clouds over a mount that you don’t have to buy.

I’m in agreement with you that corporate greed sucks.

I just don’t engage in it when I can avoid it. I don’t have the mount. I’m not getting it. Because it’s optional.

The world isn’t going to end.

You mean the days when people would just pay to be carried?

That is exactly how I bought bruto, by playing the game, doing quests, professions, with ingame gold.

Who says they can’t afford entertainment? Are they paying their sub fees?

By your logic, it’s not enough that people have a car. Ferrari should just lower the costs of their vehicles to match the price of a kia because someone can’t afford one, and that might make them depressed.

JC, the pretzels people will twist themselves into to hate a company for offering a nonessential product that they can’t afford.
