I bought it; it is fantastic.
there is no abuse or any rip offs here.
Yeah, the price is high…and so was the price of the gold I just spent 13 grand on recently lol.
NO one ripped me off. I knew the price, I knew the product. I CHOSE to pay it.
SAme thing here.
90 bucks is a bit of cash…absolutely…but NO ONE is being abused, misled, extorted, coerced or exploited
Jesus christ…I get the whining over 90 bucks…I really do…but the DRAMA from these folks is nauseating…let alone the outright dishonesty over this.
Most people spent more than that in wow tokens to get the original
What the mobile game market does goes like this:
First they advertise that the game is free to play. Then while you play, the game is easy and they even give some free characters, items and in-game currencies. To get you hooked. At a later point in your games experience they start to gate your progress by real world money gating. At some point you realized that you have been scammed. If you are rational you stop playing. If you are hooked then you start buying the in-game digital items and services. Perhaps until you run out of real life money.
As far as loot boxes are concerned that’s another scam. This started to be a real problem with console games. The method is for the game to offer loot-boxes that can be bought with real world cash. These loot boxes are randomized. So the customer never knows what they are going to get in the box. The boxs are rigged so that the chance that you will get something good is tiny, while the majority of the things you get are junk. This keeps the customer buying boxes hoping to hit the loot jackpot. And just like a casino slot-machine. They spend tons of irl cash without really being conscious of it.
In other words these types of dishonest business practices try to fool gullible people into thinking they are getting something for nothing. Or a fantastic bargain! When what they get is worthless in the real world. But the spent real world money.
In this case. I agree the mount looks great. But $90.00 is exploitative. Why not 20.00, why not give it for free as blizzards present to the Wow players who have been supporting the game and company for 20 years? Why at least make it reward for a quest? Yeah I heard this mount is cheaper then the original. So what? Well some one at Bliz thought this was a good idea. This thread is about telling that genius that it is not a good idea and to stop the greedy money grabbing.
All i saw is people on the forum requesting AH mount on shop, so Blizz gave it to them, thats what I call listening to players… you guys act like $90 is alot of money, i can get some energy drinks and some cigs thats close to 200 bucks
Exactly.
I was one of them whining/hinting/tossing fits about wanting a new AH mount for a LOT less…and here we are. Bliz gave us what we asked for…a MUCH cheaper AH mount.
and no, Im not gonna praise anyone over it…they did it for the money…clearly…but its a for profit business.
yeah, it could have been half the price and they’d have sold more right off the bat, no doubt…but it is what it is.
Hopefully everyone who wants one saves up 10 bucks a week and gets it before its closed down
It is easier.
You are never going to change your stance or even try to understand a different perspective.
I know this. Many other forum goers know this.
The person you were arguing with didn’t know this.
So it’s fair to warn them about the wall they are arguing with.
Hopefully everyone who wants one saves up 10 bucks a week and gets it before its closed down
Would be funny tho if they put it on TP next year lol
Would be funny tho if they put it on TP next year lol
lol…Ive thought the same thing. Wouldnt be the first time Ive paid top dollar then the price dropped. lol.
Another thing; Blizzard is touting this mount as a present to celebrate 20 years of Wow. Oh that is just wonderful! But wait. What will the players be getting as a free celebratory present? What we always have gotten. A little in game mail with fireworks. Meantime, Bliz want us to fork over more real world cash to the tune of $90.00 Yeah give me me a break.
I think they shoulda thrown in an achive with that AH mount
Yeah continue making excuses for your abusers.
exploitative deceptive
abused customers
NONE of which is accurate.
I get it, youre upset the price is so high. I agree, its a lot of cash.
But your hyperbolic, dramatic rhetoric about it isnt going to change Ions mind about the price.
Youre NOt abused.
Youre NOt exploited.
Youre NOT being deceived.
you can Q can talk it out if you want…but NONE of that is happening here with this mount.
you know the item…what it does…you know the price…
If you…or Q…want to be taken seriously Id put the hyperbolic rhetoric aside and have this exchange in a logical, rational mindset.
I think they shoulda thrown in an achive with that AH mount
archive? Im not sure what that is…
I spent 1.2 million gold for it, not sure about this thing you call RL money being forked over by me for it. Still all paid for by in game effort and game play.
why are you attributing all of those quotes to me?
I didnt mean to if it did…likely this garbage forum software doing stupid stuff again lol
I didnt mean to if it did…likely this garbage forum software doing stupid stuff again
Yeah shows responded to me but quoting the other shrieking poster. weird.
From the WoW subreddit:
- Blizz had a list of botters and hackers.
- Then they released the AH mount.
- Then they waited for these accounts to buy AH mount.
- Then they banned said accounts.
- Then they denied refund.
Absolute W move!
no wonder they voting Harris denied denied everthing
So it’s fair to warn them about the wall they are arguing with.
That might be an insult to walls everywhere.
