lmao…whining about a BUSINESS making money is the nonsense lmao.
They dont make it one place, they’ll make it elsewhere.

This isnt a public service son…its a BUSINESS making MONEY.
whenyou figure THAT out, maybe that’ll clear your head enough to also get that the store AINT being removed…and WiLL continue being expanded…OR they WILL jack up the sub price to make up the difference. lol

Mcdonald’s breakfast is $10 minimum now… used to be able to get a pretty solid meal for only a few bucks.

THAT is a rip off.

This would almost certainly be the death knell of WoW. Gold selling hackers would return with the removal of tokens, and those that pay their subscription with gold would leave.

Further, one of the best aspects of the relatively low monthly sub cost is the high entertainment value for the price. You are suggesting an increase of nearly triple the going rate.

This is not nonsense by any means. The wow sub hasn’t risen with inflation while literally everything else in the world has. Including the most similar services to wow; every streaming service / price of video games. The reason this hasn’t increased is because of the inflation price being collected as revenue already from the shop.

Like it or not, without it everyone would be complaining a lot more.

Clearly…and why we KNOW the game store ISNT going anywhere…they AINT giving up all the $$$ they make selling OPTIONAL stuff over a few whiners on this forum

You understand that shops exist in just about every game these days, and despite that, those games still raised their box prices anyways, right lol

I mean, even WoW did this. Expansions are now $50 instead of $40.

This isn’t a tradeoff. If Blizzard could raise the price of the subscription, they would, and they would do so while also adding the cash shop to the game lmao

I do understand that. They are making enough profit to reach their bottom line. A big part of that is due to shop. If that never existed the sub price would have very likely gone up. Sorry.

Why, because streaming services increased their prices so you assume the same should apply here? Streaming services are a completely different revenue model and are far more expensive to maintain than WoW lol

Your POV when businesses make business decisions to make money: :rage:

its HILARIOUS to me that this forum thinks this game is a public service or something, lmao.

its a CORPORATION who answers to parent companies about their profits. lmao…and so the in game store ISNT going anywhere. lol…not as long as its making them any noticeable amount of income.

Its a joke to even waste their time in here whining about it. lol

Then why are you still whining?

said the one whining about 90 bucks :joy: :joy:

You whine about other people whining. That’s so funny.

90 dollars seems a bit much for a off breed Brutosaur mount. But I guess it is cheaper then the pure breed from BFA.

700-800 dollars for the pure breed vs 90 Dollars for the off breed. I guess it is a good compromise?

This Bruto is just a reskin of the old Bruto Nothing special about it exept that it can access the auction house and the mail box in the field. But its so easy to access a AH and Mailbox in the game these days that it’s laughable. Both of these Brutos should of been way cheaper. Like maybe $20.00 Otherwise at $90.00 it can be seen as fleecing the customers.

Pure speculation here.

yeah…I think even all of us who bought the new Bruto will easily admit that 90 bucks is a bit of change for a game store mount. totally agree.

In context, its a lot cheaper than the first one and since no one HAS to buy it anyway, its just something we can buy IF its gonna make our game better in whatever way.

Someone might actually find less use for the mobile AH and mostly just want the mobile mailbox, I would think.

totally optional purchase.

and, as I said above…

Yes, of course! Blizzard can do no wrong! The corporate suits are always correct and fair! How dare the costumers question the company’s over pricing items. If the populace complains then “let them eat cake.”

You’ve spent nearly 3 weeks screaming about how whales like you also deserve love.

You don’t though.

STILL here fittin over 90 bucks lmao

I said start a gofundme son…im very sure 100 of us can toss you a buck each :+1: :+1: :+1:

All prices are based on revenue curve determined by Supply & Demand. If you offer your product or service at too low a price, you are giving it away. Raise the price as long as you are making more money.

However at a certain point you start losing revenue due to approaching your demand limit.

When the loss of revenue for people not buying, starts to exceed the added revenue from the higher price, you have reached the top of your revenue curve. That’s where you set your price.

That’s all there is to it.
