Very good point.
If blizzard werent milking those with more expendable income they may well have raised the sub price by now.
At a rate comparable to the minimum wage these days of fifteen bucks an hour, and netted down to let’s say 10, that’s 9 hours of convenience. Given it’s an AH, if you actively use the AH on the regular, and you play let’s say ten hours a week, that’s a bare minimum for someone to truly consider this a benefit over a toy. I’d guess that’s at least 30 minutes of those ten hours you saved by putting items directly on the AH versus having to go back to town. Probably more but still. So at that rate in 18 weeks it pays for itself.
Unless you are planning to quit wow in the near future or somehow can’t afford it, this seems an obvious buy to boost your QoL and time actually playing.
This is simply not even close to the point. Of course many of us including myself won’t buy it. It’s the fact they are so oblivious to the state of reality that they even have the audacity to put the mount on the store for that price.
Coming into a forum where people are leaving their feedback to a company they are displeased with to just say “Well don’t buy it”. is just so unaware of the problem. You are literally defending the practice and contributing to the problem, it’s not a solution.
then buy a full game instead
then buy food for a week instead
i don’t see the problem here
It’s the only point. Buy it.
Don’t buy it.
The end.
You don’t see the point of feedback either. Another clueless person.
And, it’s a problem why again exactly?
OMG, someone can’t buy it.
That’s all you’ve got.
no, i see the point of feedback.
“this mount is more expensive than i think it should be” is feedback
“this mount is too expensive and you’re greedy and bad and evil people” is not
I agree Annie, Tbh I just returned and seeing a mount I want cost more than the xpack itself makes me want to not play any blizz games :). I hope Lina Khan takes a good long look at acti/bliz.
So, Little Caesar’s then.
It is less exploitative then the first ah mount. You take away the once removed price from gold buying and suddenly the community loses its mind…
Look now to all the “its just cosmetic bros” see the harvest.

A full game that might just last two weeks. Mail dino is forever.
The U.S. is in a much better state than it was four years ago lol.
lol…LC is under 10 bucks for a large.
I doubt a place here in town is $25 for a large unless is 3 inches deep in toppings lol
You can buy this with tokens bought via gold earned in game.
I thought you meant internet plus 4 large pizzas, hence Little Caesar’s.
This could be true, except there’s an actual auction house that you can use.
For free.
It doesn’t cost $90.
You can just go to any major city, ask a guard where it’s at. Crazy. I know.
WoW now rated M for Mature.
So much complaining about the mount that I purchased it just to inspire hatred and jealousy. Looking forward to calling the haters peasants and asking if they have any grey poupon yo.
Token has to reach 833,333G for it to be the same or more expensive than the OG longboi.
That’s the point though.
Blizzard knows gold and tokens are universal but everything has limits.
They could have put the mount in the game at 5 million and left it off the cash shop but I’m sure this way ends up being more profitable. Either scenario though would result in people basically straight buying it.
