Every time when I bring fresh alt to PvP I can feel how toxic is design of PvP. Even honor gear is gated by enormous price of the gear. You join BG just to be a leach who can’t hurt anything and your role just to be an easy target for geared players. Zero respect to Blizzard’s PvP team.

Seems like a troll topic, but also, with the new daily/mark/token changes, its super easy to get pvp pieces now.
Good design is when you match ungeared vs ungeared, geared vs geared, similar to Arena’s MMR. In Wrath it was easy to get quickly Honor set and then advance to arenas. Both classic and TBC designs are just bad. Participation is so poor due to poor design. I’m not demanding anything. It’s just my opinion,
Did you bother to get 5pc blues from reputation vendors?
You can mix in 2 pieces of your offspec to get a double 35 resil bonus for wearing 2pc heal/2pc dps.
So basically ~170 resil for a little gold before you even set foot in a bg.

Wrong. P1 raiding epics and rep honor set. Both alts are rev with all factions.
For both pve and pvp, this game has always been about gear. Until you get better gear, you’re going to have tougher sledding in either environment. It’s my perception that the people who have better gear in pvp have gone through the phase where they did not. No matter how good your gear may be, there is always someone who is better geared, same as in life. Deal with it.
Look. I played on wPvP Tich, Emerald Dream since 2008 and on Grob since day 1 as a member of Hurricane. I know basics of this game. It’s a game where it’s possible for NFL team to play against High School.
Classic pvp has always been just one shots. Just how it is.

Never struggled to find groups. Met some very cool people along the way too
