From not giving people a chance in heroic dungeons and votekick abuse to harrassment in forums. The classic community in cata is smaller because of that and will continue to diminish. Why can’t wow have a more supportive community to new players like FFXIV or other MMOs?

Of particular note though is that there are many communities in WoW, and they vary in many ways, but one set of lenses through which you could filter may be in terms of whatever it is you are calling supporting here.
The only times I’ve seen people get kicked from a dungeon was when they were needing on every piece of gear that drops, their dps was not even a quarter of everyone elses or that they went AFK. Now I’m not saying that random kicks don’t happen but I am saying that they don’t happen as frequently as posts in this forum would suggest.
There are always bad apples in every community, Warframe is from what can see one of the most friendly communities in gaming and yet I’ve seen toxic behaviour multiple times.
FFXIV 100% has their fair share of toxic players, you might not notice it as much because of their chat restrictions where key words are banned, WoW has no such restrictions on what you say in chat which is why you might say that FFXIV is less toxic.
I’m not going to compare the two (FFXIV and WoW) to see which one’s more or less toxic, but you have to understand that there’s toxicity in every game.

Yes WoW has this too - you just have to activate it, I play with it deactivated always, as some normal words in my language (my Guild’s second language) are homographs with some offensive words in English - thus getting XXXed out, making for illegible texts in Gchat 
i never once gotten kicked on over 7 toons over dps issues. I’ve seen people get kicked for being an Ahole other than that no issues.
This kids a gem. You should see his other post about the same thing. He completely changed his story no less than 6 different times, and got called out on it by multiple people.
Most of us are convinced he does not even play on Cata.
Ive experienced more toxic players in FFXIV in the past 3 months Ive played than I have in the 15 years Ive played WoW.
