When I think back to dungeons that I do not remember, they all went well. No one really said much and we killed the last boss and it was over.
The ones I remember usually had drama. That drama made it fun to be there. Watching two people argue. Some form of interaction that would usually be called toxic because …at least it was something.
The game is dead if we just beat everything and no one talks. No one argues. No drama. A good server needs drama.

Taking world buffs will be my most favorite thing in any video game ever.

Often times victims of Verbal Abuse tend to not see the Red Flags and not blame the One Harassing. No one should be talking “Trash” to one another.

This post nails why older online games can’t be beat. The social drama that naturally occurs between people has been TOS’d to death.
Trash talk, griefing, internal guild strife, etc. It’s all going away.
There’s still trolling but it’s tame compared to back then. Like Gdkp in this thread is trolling these boomers who can’t detect trolling, but even he has to follow certain rules as a troll or else risk being TOS’d
I spent all day being toxic to the horde, taking wbuffs and killing them in their own cities. This was more fun than any raid i did
I mean it’s always a good laugh that when you kill someone in pvp, them logging on a level 1 to flame and insult you and you already knowing that once you type a red sentence of “ignores you” will be popping up.
That said… that won’t be the case for many in classic but hey, it’s the norm and still funny.
Every sandbox needs a bully for the rest of the kids to overcome. So I agree. Some people enjoy being toxic others enjoy reminiscing or taking part in that toxic guy getting their comeuppance.
The game is solved, toxic people give the server something else to solve so to speak.
