I see where you’re coming from but the difference is actually equivalent, and will still be when Kul Tirans receive Shaman and the Zandalari receive Paladins.
That’s not to say I disagree with you. I’m all for more Paladin options for the Horde, and more Shaman options for the Alliance - if I had my way, both factions would have an equal number of both, more or less.
Let’s encourage Blizzard to introduce new races to both factions that fit, however, rather than bending lore for existing races (I know you didn’t say that, I’m just putting it out there).

I never said there wasn’t. I think you misunderstood what I was saying.
The OP wants an additional Horde Paladin. My argument was that to keep it even, both with Paladin and Shaman options, and with overall options, the Alliance would need another Shaman.
Oh my mistake. Yeah OP is being ridiculous. Total class parity across the factions is completely unnecessary.

Shamans yes, druids no. One more druid ally and it’s tied, so why not?
Unless One more Ally Druid is a Wildhammer Dwarf Druid that is.
Two of each race type is enough. If they were to give dwarves the option then fine.
How is it “totally unfair” – Paladins at the start were just for the Alliance & Shamans for the Horde - now years later both factions can have Paladins AND Shamans. What race that is currently part of the Horde - would make a good Paladin?
Is it unfair that the Alliance is getting the short end of the stick as far as Druids go? Horde’s new race gets unique models all around - Alliance gets a fat undead looking Moonkin, to match our other 2.
Ohh is it fair that Horde gets unique models for faction mounts - while Alliance gets a bunch of horses?

It doesn’t make sense to me why Alliance have more Mages and Priests (by 2) and it doesn’t make sense to me why Horde has more Monks (by 1) and I don’t get why Alliance have 81 in total playable classes/races mix while Horde has 80.

In all honesty, the lore would support the removal of all class restrictions actually. Initially WoW was billed as taking place “4 years after the tenuous truce”, that was 15 years ago. It’s foolish to pretend that a gnome hasn’t figured out how be a paladin or that a tauren hasn’t figured out how to cast a fireball.
And yet Warlocks can only be an elf. No maghar orcs warlocks. No Zandalari (This one was painful, you took it away so Warriors could have it? Warriors who can be EVERY other new race?) Warlocks. No highmountain tauren warlocks. Warlock players are paying for new races too Blizzard…
Umm, how “soon”? They haven’t even shared details of the racial abilities yet. Honestly, waiting until until halfway through the expansion is just too long.
Dark Irons and Mag’har were tack-on races that could have been added at any time, in any expansion. Zandalari and Kul Titans should have become available with the release of 8.1 at the latest.
