Did you even read what you wrote?
“It’s not class tailored”
“The warlock is a pet class while the other isn’t”
What?
It sounds like it’s tailored for a pet class by what you’re saying .

Well, no. It’s just a bunch of over-achieving, sweaty try-hards trying to clear something that supposed to apart of the entire expansion for a year in less than three weeks.
“…more dense than […] depleted Tungsten”
Nerd.
Did you read the whole thing? Torghast is random templates thrown together. The only thing that’s class specific is the Anima powers.
Again, very easy concept.
Yes I read your post.
If a pet class is able to clear MYTHIC torghast level in half heroic half m0 gear. While m+ geared paladin can’t…
Yeah I guess it’s “tailored” for a pet class.
Hey, I mentioned the chemical nerd already. Wait, does this mean we’re forming bonds over shared acknowledgments??
Or am I out of my periodic table of elements, Donny?
Yes, I want us to be besties.
get better gear
No, it’s not. It’s the same as the Mage Tower. In single-player type of content that’s not tailored to classes, pet classes will always have an advantage by the inherent ability of having two health pools; their own and their pet.
Pet classes can split the damage and will always progress further than non-pet classes.
So keep looking for excuses when none exist.
Ultimately beside the point I was making.
Should Torghast be entirely clearable at this point in the expansion? That’s not for me to say; I don’t know Blizzard’s design philosophy or ultimate vision for Torghast.
If it were up to me, I’d have Torghast be fully clearable at this point if you’re capable of doing so (dependent on player skill), then add higher difficulty levels as the expansion progressed.
Depending on their intentions, I don’t think it could hurt for Blizzard to take another balancing pass on Torghast, potentially buffing the classes that are underperforming.
If everything in Torghast is working as intended, then that’s fine. I do think Blizzard would ease a lot of peoples’ tempers if they made a public statement that Torghast is supposed to be an expansion-long challenge. People would stop banging their heads against the wall and wait until they have better gear later in the expansion cycle.
Regardless of their decision, though, people will complain. That’s part of having an audience as large as WoW does; you can never please your entire playerbase.
Underperforming what, exactly? What level they think they should be in after three weeks?
Did you bother to read my post?
Depending on Blizzard’s intentions for what Torghast is supposed to be. Where are players supposed to be in their Torghast progression at this point? Can players feasibly get there? Are there specs that can’t reach the point Blizzard thinks they should be at?
See:
I did. You’re want to assuage over-achievers that are hitting a brick wall despite Blizzard literally stating that Torghast was expansion long content.
Absolutely incorrect. I said multiple times that it’s fine for Torghast to be a challenge that lasts the entire expansion.
I’m done trying to converse with you; you clearly desire argument over productive dialogue. It’s beyond frustrating.
Honestly, go with one other person. The recent changes made tank solo a nightmare just two man it and it’s stupidly easy. By the end of the run I had 180k hp and my partner was doing 9k dps. It was a joke, but the boss had so much hp it took us five minutes to kill him. He couldn’t kill me with 20k DS healing but it was still a massive slog.
It’ll be fun to do layer 8 in two yrs time forscrubs like me
What do you mean ‘productive’? All you’re doing is making excuses.
It’s very interesting. The 1st Wing I was able to beat layer 8 with my ilvl 182 prot pally. Did take a couple of tries and a good combination of anima powers. Ended up with over 130k hp and some decent dps options.
However, in Wing 2 I could not get past Layer 8, floor 2. The damage affixes are huge! You start with 6 stacks of damage against you, then the bosses, and rare spawns have additional damage stacks and it just all adds up. Then the level bosses have some sort of enrage mechanic, and can no longer become CC’d after a certain amount of time. Has nothing to do with diminishing returns, just a stack that gives them immunity.
I’m very curious who’s beaten this week’s Wing 2 L8, and what’s the spec and/or group composition. It’s almost like night and day difference between the two wings.
With a mistweaver as in doing it with two people, or as a mistweaver.
Its definitely doable i finished layer 8at 188ilvl. But yea the floor bosses are monsters now. Tbh tho I think this week is actually harder also because we legit get no power ups. I cleared it only having 17 where last week I had 41
