To get it done for the week. Here is how it should go. I should clear layer 7 and 8 rather quickly then go to the other wing and blow thru layer 8 over there be done with the Soul ash for the week so I can do something enjoyable.
Doing layer 4 is pointless and is also painful because… I don’t want to do Torghast. It isn’t fun!! Making it hard is the worst possible thing ever!! It is supposed to give you this over powered feeling in there from the buffs so you can nuke the content.
I’m not on layer 4 I’m on layer 7 I want to be done with it. Now it’s like slowly peeling off duck tape from my body while someone squirts lemon juice in my eye… cheese and crackers going to make dinner and angry eat some chocolate.
I care. Raiders shouldn’t be the only ones who get to have fun or feel powerful. You get your raid content. You get to overpower all portions of the game. I’d like to have fun in Torghast.
I don’t see how this an issue when we have Mythic dungeons and raids already, the higher the tier = bigger the gear check and challenge. For a lot of players this is what they wanted out of Torghast.
Seems like a waste of time if layer 7 and 8 are too hard for you and you can’t finish. Just do what you are comfortable with and you’ll get the upgrades eventually.
So you can’t have fun in layer 4 or 5? Seems like clearing those would be more fun than failing at layer 7 or 8.
The replies, and things said by Blizzard, makes me doubt, but giving you the benefit of the doubt in assuming your not just here to brag about how good you are at this to all us plebs.
I still say it’s anima powers depended. Sure you might be able to do drag yourself through without a decent set, but it’s still not very fun or worthwhile.
i can agree with that on lower ranks. but around layer 4+ it should definitely get more difficult to do. we’ll be swimming in soul ash soon enough already.
The literal issue is, how do you go from one day being able to clear ALL sections, and then having to revert back to lower levels to do the same exact content you did one day prior?
You tell that to a M+15 player who completed content on monday, that on Tuesday they have to go back to doing M+8 content. That is literally what just happend.
No they didn’t, Torghast is supposed to literally be the easiest content and some fast ARPG fun in WoW. Where you get some crazy buffs and 1 shot everything.
Tell you what you want to run some infinite level torghast and test your strength go for it. However let that be extra instead of mandatory. Please and thanks.
Making chores really hard isn’t the way or fun game design. I need Soulash and now it stuck behind something really painful. Awesome job Devs. Bravo.
I want to kill Mythic Sire Denathrius today also. But I have nowhere near the gear or the experience to do it. I will kill him in a few months with my team when we are ready to do so. Some things take time. You’ll get layer 8 eventually, just be patient.
If you want a challenge, you should try doing it naked. The other 98% of players shouldn’t be punished because the content is easy for BM monks and prot pallies.
It’s similar to how folks first felt when Mythics came out and they did up to +5 with ease and then started seeing +8 and over slowly star to ramp up to the point where M+ has become it’s own community within the community. The same applies to Torghast, the difficulty is adjusting to where it needs to be.
