Because bads don’t like challenge, so they have to put in slogs, to slow down the goods. Been this way since Cata.

I love how people are dictating to other players that their problem is they don’t like a challenge. Rather presumptive, and likely incorrect for many. I believe some of the floor / level bosses are unreasonably punitive to some classes. I think also, if you are unlucky with your powers early on, that can ruin your run definitely.

Me too. No help from the community, no groups to stick around, 3 too many floors, no rewards outside of leggo dust, which is enough to run each wing once. I’ll be back in 9.1- 9.1.5, when things flash out a bit more, and the timegating isn’t AS bad.

Think positive people. This is only month 1. They can’t have all you mythic +++ pro’s in 200+ gear roll stomping to layer 3 6 months to a year from now.
The balance will get worse here.

People are extremely undergeared right now. It will get easier. Of course layer 6 is going to be difficult if you are 170 ilvl.

My entire guild and friends I play with can’t stand choreghast either. I’d say GD is pretty representative of the general populace’s feelings on this trashcan place.
I’ll be sure to crawl into GD and cry into my skill pillow about how mean and unforgiving content is and demand Blizzard change it so my ‘skill’ is irrelevant again.

Torghast WAS soloable for tanks…until today’s patch
No amount of gear is going to make my pet stop getting 2-3 shot in floors 5+. It isn’t a ‘gear check’.
He’d need an extra 100k+ HP, considering things hit for 10k-20k a pop.
