There isn’t much you can do.
You interrupt the bolt, he keeps casting it, you keep resummoning your pet, you eventually run out of embers and die too.
I got him to 30% and just gave up.

Classic brought SO many players back, myself included after 10years. This Ion character has has turned what used to be a decent game into a joke. Removing currency, removing sets with the excuse of balance challenges…nevermind the current massive 30% gaps in dps logs.

Shrug. They could have done a layer 2 each week and had their legendary. No need to smash face into a layer that’s too hard for them.
Ion is many things, but ineloquent isn’t one of them. I think a response from Ion would have more verve - be more intelligent - not so … sycophantic.

My guild has 3 people in it. We do just fine.
Pugging tanks and healers can be touchy, but we haven’t needed a dedicated healer for Torg yet. Also, Worgen are our sworn enemies.
Oh right, Classic was super hard.
This is just a bunch of cry babies that bragged too much for their own good and now they’re dealing with the consequences.
It’s just dumb now.
I’m just doing 2 nights of raid, 1 M+ key, and then Cyberpunk the rest of the time until we AoTC. Already got my BiS T2 Leggo and it’ll last until 9.1.

It’s both, they said it could be done in a group or solo’d. And they just hotfixed it so it can’t be solo’d. Oh maybe someone with the highest ilvl raid gear can make it through but too bad so sad for everyone else.

I’m not saying that the buff to torghast wasn’t a bit stupid, but you can get most of your soul ash for the week by doing lower layers.
So. The content is not forcing you to get all 8 layers done to allow you to get legendaries, but that IS the max you can get. Let’s say you can’t do it, but ilvl 215 guy can solo it. Why do you deserve to get max soul ash every week just for showing up? They made the lower layers specifically for casuals like you so that you still progress with minimal effort, albeit at a slower rate.
It boggles my mind the “I deserve just as much as the next guy for doing no work” mentality when you are playing an MMO. They bent over backwards to make sure there is systems in place so people who do the bare squat minimum can still keep relatively competive, but you cry like a baby cause you cant solo layer 8

Torghast as a Rogue Layer 3 and I’m assuming above is horrible Solo.
i just don’t understand the rationale of making it harder for solo healers. the only purpose that solves is making me log out.

The only actual “issue” with torghast is the rng on powers. Majority of them are outright worthless.
