been an active customer since the beginning. why am i now being suppressed in constructive critique. I’ve been a beta tester since you folks started beta testing and have never pulled punches, yet in last couple months i cant respond either in beta or here. if you no longer desire my services as a beta tester say so.
Were you invited into the beta? Also, do you have active game time? In order to post in most parts of the forums, you have to have active game time too.
To add on to what Perl said, to post in the Beta forums you need to have beta as well
yes. to both questions.
In that case tty logging out of the forums and logging back in
yes. i have that as well
Last trick. Try logging out and change your pw. Sometimes it forces everything to sync properly
If you just got access, it would seem that it can take a little time for the forums to catch up. Just give it a few hours or so and try logging out and back in again.
There’s nothing else that needs to be done really other than just waiting for the forums to catch up.
i would, but this is an ongoing problem. It’s like they really have no desire to hear underlying problems. the latest with the shadow priests sounds intriguing, but why should i test it out if i can’t comment. SP in BFA were underwhelming, so why should i expect any different in Shadowlands, and if it’s as expected why should i give feedback if i’m not going to be able to respond. not trying to be a jerk here but i want to give constructive input, but i have no desire to now. at all.
That tends to come with the territory of posting in the wrong forum, unfortunately. Customer Support is able to help with account- and billing-related problems among other things, should they wish. But issues with something like posting on the forums is not something they can help with. They aren’t development.
They do absolutely enjoy hearing player commentary, but a lot of it is overshadowed by players misconstruing the intent behind directing them to the appropriate area as being unwilling to listen.
I’m not entirely certain I understand the issue, Ghull.
You are welcome to post feedback in the relevant forum, assuming you are on an active account in good standing. I don’t see any restrictions on the account preventing you from doing so.
Now for our Shadowlands Beta, you need to be invited to participate in that testing in order to access that forum. Looking at your account I don’t show that you have access to beta.
That isn’t to say that our Developers aren’t interested in your feedback/suggestions, but that forum is specifically reserved for those who are actively testing and have experience with what is currently in testing there.
Any related feedback you may have should be posted in the most appropriate section of our Community forums with General Discussion being a default.
