I’m not entirely sure Ion made the claim of “Shadowlands will be the most Alt friendly expansion” but I do recall alt friendliness being mentioned. But anyways, my typical “alt friendly” shpiel

This phrase “alt friendly” I realized that Blizz must have an idea of what that means and it doesn’t align with some other peoples idea of what it means. Which is typical for the wow community We use terms that don’t have any actual unified meaning like “clunky” “bloat” “casual” and “alt friendly” and we expect other people to know what we mean when we say it.

Don’t say you want an expansion to be alt friendly, say what you want which I presume is this:

It used to just be (level/ gear ).

and I agree Level to max, do (if you need) Normal dungeons to get gear for Heroic, then do Heroic to be ready for raids then all you have to do is raid for the rest of the xpac gg.
Of course we have M+ and M0 nowadays so that would have to be worked in there somewhere as well.
