Tomorrow is the start of yet another push week. I’m sure the forum is going to be spammed with how these affixes are horrible and that they should be removed from the game but they are easy affixes to deal with. Blizzard doesn’t need to remove any of these 3 affixes tomorrow, if anything they should make them actually challenging.
If you’re new to mythic+ then this is a great week to start learning. If you’re having issues with groups you should look into a community called Warcraft Made Easy or just WME, google their discord because I don’t know if I’m allowed to post it here or not. You can find many helpful people to do keys with or even just to talk to for advice.
Tyrannical - starts at +2. Learn basic boss mechanics.
Volcanic - starts at +7. Don’t stand on volcanos because they hurt.
Sanguine - starts at +14. Dead things drop pools of bad, you don’t stand in them nor should you allow adds to stand in them.
The upcoming season where every affix is active each week in all dungeons is where the real progression and fun is going to start. This will be a very welcome change.
I didn’t hear anything about this but if it’s true then that’s a massive improvement and I look forward to it. So from +2 on up all 3 weekly affixes will be active?
that’s how it should’ve been but we decided to have BoP keys instead - for reasons. And a timer. The challenge has to be killing 5man trash mobs really really fast. Can’t be cool, unique new abilities and such.
Not sure what removing a large portion of content people enjoy, and completely destroying any hope for 5 man content to ever be relevant, pushing WoW back to “raid or die” will do to help the game?
Sanguine’s only a problem when you’re fighting in a broom closet.
Nothing really like that, this season. The closest would be Throne of the Tides on the 6-aquamage pull (since you’re stuck there and can’t go forward or back, and it’s a narrow corridor), Waycrest Manor after lady Waycrest and around the kitchen hallways, and to a much lesser degree the final hallway leading up to Xavius in DHT.
Nothing close to the aptly named Sanguine Depths, or parts of De Other Side and Tirna Scithe, or some horror like Grimrail Depot.
I don’t personally care about sanguine at this point in time, because it’s not that bad on healers at the level of keys I’m boosting. I haven’t run a legit key in almost a month. Just 18-20 for vault and boosts. But it is a known and accepted fact amongst ALL high key players that sanguine is one of the worst affixes. Even with incredible players, it heals for millions of hps per dungeon, adding insane amounts of time. Like it’s not going to be what necessarily directly kills you like several others, but it’s probably the worst in the game as far as the timer is concerned, apart from bolstering in some dungeons.
