I tried to buy the Peafowl in the shop yesterday with my tokens. I had 950 then. The system forever looped then said it didn’t work and would try and work in the background. I had to be logged in to have it try it, but I had to go to bed, so I logged off to do it again today.
Today I log in, and the peafowl is still there, unpurchased, and I go to buy it, hoping it’s fixed itself, and I see I now no longer have enough to get it. I now have 195 tokens, having lost 755 to the ether and STILL NO PEAFOWL.
Have you done a UI reset to rule out a misbehaving interface? That 5 extra tenders are missing stinks of some wonky behavior behind the scenes.
You can also check your transaction history to see if the backend has accepted a purchase attempt, as well.
Click Virtual Wallet:
And then under Ecosystem - Battle.Net in the dropdown menu, click WoW and it will bring up a list of purchases.

It failed the night before. I logged out completely, went to bed, rebooted computer, logged in next day.
So, yeah, UI was reset.
Yes, and then later I spend 3000 Plunder in Plunderstorm to get another 750 Tokens. Logged in after that and went to buy the peafowl. you should notice that the Crystal was bought BEFORE the Plunderstorm injection.
Orlyia has rooted around your account already, but it is not as simple as that to reset the UI, I’m afraid. There are a couple steps of digging around in installation folders involved.

I’m afraid there is no purchase of another mount during that time and all tenders appear to be accounted for. I’m not sure what you may have seen, or when you attempted to make the purchase but nothing was purchased nor does it appear any tenders were deducted.
The Reins of the Brilliant Sunburst Peafowl does appear to be in your Frozen Item.

Alright. Then the trader post failed to render the tokens correctly on my end, hence my angst over the mess up.
