Yea I really don’t like these reskins of our existing mounts. At least before they were separate so we didn’t have to choose. Now we’re forced to choose one or the other. Kinda lame imo.

I think they want to capitalize on the high price and let users think they’ll get that much for a while. Woohoo token money! Alternatively, the disabled trading “bug” might be the reason for the increase.

I’m not sure that would be a factor since the token was never server based. The amount it went for is region wide.

Bad economy, Bad desing, the rework was Bad implemented, and a lot of raw gold in the world quest. There are a lot of factors, auction house should be fine if they remove the multi gathering (10 people abusing the same node/Ore/skin) thats the reason of clássic economy being good.
This have never happened before, we were fine Even with the multi boxers going crazy. This economy is a meme and a real job, a lot of effort for earning the same or less gold than before.
The people saying “hurr durr supply and demand” crack me up. It’s probably a small part of it but the majority is inflation due to bots. You can easily search for the raw gold exploit that botters started using a few months ago and is massively spiking the price. 1 million gold per day per bot is going to cause problems.

I heard something about it going up because apparently it’s super easy to get Bnet balance in D4 or something.
Other way around.
People buy tokens to buy bnet balance and spend it on the in-game stores across Blizzard. So other titles, cosmetics/battle pass for D4, wow in-game store, and then yeah, some people use it for game time.
So, sure supply and demand and all that, but Blizzard can absolutely influence prices by releasing an in-game store item. This usually makes the tokens cost more gold (i.e. increased demand).
That being said, there will always be more demand than supply. There will always be more players willing to spend gold (virtual currency) than cash (real currency).
