Token is crashing!

The token is crashing all day since Blizz made it harder for bots to use. 250k and falling!!!. I hope it gets to BFA token which was 118k

Such a big effect on day 1… Makes me wonder what percentage of accounts are used for botting.

Maybe there are 2500 players, and 2,500,000 bots…

…if you can get expansions with a token then good riddance to them. Have my issues with Blizzard but being able to to get the new content practically free then the tokens need to go.

tokens can be used for a 30 day sub, or $15 bnet balance.

so essentially if you can farm the gold, yeah you can get subs/expansions for “free” just costs you time.

It’s not really free. It’s more like letting somebody else buy it for you and in exchange that person gets gold. Plus since the wow tokens cost $20 for the person originally buying gold and the person buying the token with gold only gets $15 worth as far as things like buying xpacs Blizz actually gets more money than if everyone bought the xpac directly.

So if a player buys the xpac for $60 with tokens that means someone else paid $80 to provide those tokens.

Overall it’s a win-win-win. Player with lots of gold but less IRL money gets the new content, the player with more deposable income but less time for earning gold gets more gold, and Blizz comes out ahead for providing the service.

The only real complaint against Tokens that I personally consider valid is that providing a way to buy gold with money hurts the in game economy. However, even the argument doesn’t hold a ton of weight IMO because if the token wasn’t an option many of the people buy gold via the token would just buy gold from third party sellers. If IRL gold selling is going to happen either way, I rather have the money going to blizz than some random bot farmers in china

BFA only dropped that low because of the 5 mil AH mount

blizz made so much money when that hit.

They close now 200k accounts for ‘exploitations’ like botting monthly, that doesn’t include spambots. Yet they’re still everywhere, so I imagine a lot

Wow. It was 314k last week…. Now I’m kind of regretting not buying one. Lol.

i remember when tokens was 11k good times!

Well I’ll be. That’s quite a far cry from where they are even now.

Thanks for the heads up, just went and converted a bunch of gold and paid for the epic edition
