Lol. Its irrelevent? That is the best you can come up with? What about every other item that is sold on the AH? Why does it matter for those items.
With your answer to that question it clearly shows, you dont know what you are talking about, and also that you have some superiorty complex issue going on. A little advice, if you dont like what ppl are talking about, stay out of the conversation. You have shown ZERO evidence to debunk the “myth”. Your newly found phrase, " tin foil hat", doesnt make you right. Again, you have shown nothing at all to support your opinion.
I am curious, since you are facsinated with the phrase " tin foil hat", how many conversations have you had that you have NOT used that phrase. We should refer to you as tin foil hat man.
Bkizz is hiding the information. They do not allow you to verify id a token was sold to a real player. Blizz set the price of the very 1st token and have not EVER, not one time, allowed the seller to set the selling price. Blizz has complete control of the pricing and by hiding the information about the transactions, make the whole thing very shady. Deny that all you want.

What did people do before pixels??? All those people with no influencers or actors to model their lives after and identify with. Must have been horrible to actually go outside to play a game with your freinds out in the horrible sunlight.
Do people not realize that ActiBlizz WANTS low gold price on the token? People spending $20 for 1000g is their wet dream. Especially when the gdkps have items going for 500kg.

looking fine to me i love cheap game time
seriously. 20 dollars for a tiny bit of change. I was sure I would be getting at least 30k gold
not really , probably 800g $12
We just played d&d and mtg in dark basements.

Gonna go ahead and not listen to someone as ignorant as you
I’m sorry you don’t understand how economics work.
If bob offers me 10 apples for $5 and billy offers me 5 apples for $5. I wonder who’s apples people are gonna buy.
The token is making ZERO attempt to counter gold buying, instead its incentivizing it by buying cheap gold and buying game time with it.

I wasn’t allowed to get into ++ but I have 130k liquid and over 100k mats and I’m laughing at all the swipers and gold buyers cause I have like 30 tokens worth of gold I earned which I can back up with TSM receipts lol
But billy stole those 5 apples and shouldnt be on the market is the point. People are even buying those apples with a huge red flag next to them and the cops are right there as well, its just the cops are asleep.

Those apples taste the same as the other apples though
It is the point.
If they want the token do actually do what it’s being claimed to be added for. They need to make it just as good of a deal or actually remove the competition.
These are facts.
Until then, blizzard is failing

Its not the point. You trying to change the point being made and then claiming a new point isnt how things work.
The point is its illegal gold.
That’s not the point.
The point is as long as there are better deals, people will do it.
Most drugs are still illegal, you can go to jail for using them, buying them and selling them. Yet they’re still in the market.

That is the point. Again you dont have the authority to change the point people are making. Your line of reasoning is flawed as flawed can be. Should car dealers lower their price to that of a crook that stole some cars and is trying to sell them? No.
The point is its illegal gold and you shouldnt be buying it. Blizzard also doesnt set the price of the tokens.
The OP is specifically making a statement about how Blizzard’s token isn’t as economically viable as other means of receiving gold. No where in their initial OP are they making a point about other means of receiving gold being illegal or not.
Car dealers compete with other car dealers.
Cars come in multiple qualities, new, used, semi used.
Stolen cars are quickly confiscated and tracked.
Gold is equal since it has no diminishment from what source you obtain it from.
You have zero grasp on how things work or of any semblance of creating a valid argument.
Wanna know what blizzard does? 2 of my best friends buy gold. One just bought 100k, they used the AH to “sell” a xmog item 2 pairs of Jade boots, the seller bought the items so it legitimizes the gold and trail.
It’s been a month. Still all chuggin along
How about those classic gold buyers? Ever see a rank 14 get banned for gold buying? You think they farmed for gold while staying up 18 hours a day ranking?
There’s zero reason to not do it because they lack the tech to combat it. It’s why it still exists.
If they wanna combat it, they need to undercut it or it admits the token is just a cashgrab

And Blizzard has no control over the price of the token. Do you really think Blizzard would purposefully tank something that would bring them revenue? This was already addressed and other points were made throughout this thread and that other DK is arguing to argue like they always do.
You ban bots gold sellers and those that bought gold, permanently.
