LF Someone to run me through X Quest Paying 5K !!!
It would take a couple of hours per day… but yes, it’s doable.
I do the dailies waiting on LFG to pass the time and it’s decent enough gold.
and what would you spend the gold on bud? consumes for raid? consumes for leveling professions? …not a lot left other than having bragging rights to 10,000,000g
How is that different than now?
for 1 you’d have to read the post and not be ignorant. might want to check what was said before posting.
When questing and grouping with friends is the currency you can’t buy your way around it.
I did, and you didn’t answer, the only point of accumulating massive gold now is so you can say you have it. Your suggestion doesn’t change that.
yes, I did.
yes, I did.
Aaaaaaand you just debunked yourself. haha good lord learn to read homie.
See Below. Get owned and then get out.
Except they literally can as I explained, people can still pay for carries to do the quest.
Unless the quests are 100% solo instanced, in which case why even play an MMO?
you’re assuming, and assuming wrong, that it would be under the same conditions. You can do simple things so that attunements, quest chains, etc, cannot be bought. you’re just not a bright mind so don’t bust a fuse thinking.
This is probably what’s going on…people dumping Tokens on the market to get gold for Shadowmourn (and a lesser extent Val’anyr).
And Blizzard probably love this. It’s now roughly TWICE as many Tokens you need to buy now as it was ‘Day 1’ to get the same amount of gold.
Shadowmourne frags ain’t going for 5k lol on any server and region. They are going for a lot more it’s the last phase before the next expansion. Most people will unload everything they have for it because they ain’t coming back for cata. It’s possible blizzard could up the drop rates they already did it with valanyr where everyone gets a free welfare valanyr.
The main reason people are unloading their gold is because they have stockpiled it for shadowmourne for 6 years. It’s not really related to Cataclysm. Shadowmourne is every warriors wet dream.
I know, the height of the Token value was roughly 12k (before I went to bed and it all came crashing down).
((As I said, I suspect it went up because folks were looking to liquidate some of their gold hoard. Either for game time or because they thought it could be used for Blizzard Balance; free Diablo 4.))
But the crash is probably specifically from those swiping and dumping the Token in prep for ICC GDKPs.
I didnt like this ar first. I was hoping to get at least 15k if i am going to spend 20 real dollars. But honestly, i still have no reason to need gold. I have a small crew of alts with prifessions that keep my pile of gold growing and nothing to spend it on as is.
I put a lot of game time and effort into making the gold i have and i just really dont want to spend any of it on what i consider a waste. I get no in game value from buying the token. With that said, it is getting tough to justify 15 dollars a month when i coukd just easily spend 5k ingame and wouldnt even reallly notice it.
*Because you can trade Retail’s token for Bnet balance and some dinky little game called D4 just came out. Even the very first skyrocket was because they announced the Bnet exchange + Overwatch.
Yea you can. Get more tokens.
I did it back in the day on multiple toons before tokens, now with tokens it is so much more easy.
When tokens originally released in WoD they were 18k a pop. Did the reverse of what happened here in WoTLK Classic. I didn’t expect these tokens to drop below 5k, not in a million years.
I don’t think anyone did either. We all were expecting them to go up that’s why so many of us brought them out on day 1. Now I can buy 860 tokens or 71 years worth of sub with the amount of gold I have. No way in hell I’m playing wow for 71 years. I need another way to cash out.
Well to be fair, the wow token did tank in the first few months too.
But besides that, the current wow token in Classic has two issues:
- No bnet balance
- A lot of classic players have a tinfoil hat view of token
Regarding point two, I remember someone trying to convince me that Blizzard is fully regulating the wow token. Just 3 weeks ago here in the forums… Didn’t age well.
They launched at 30k, dropped to 18k and were quite volatile, then slowly went up past their initial price, dropped a bit when legion launched, then went over 100k once you could exchange them for bnet balance.
