Token Collector Achievement Explained

Many of you will get this achievement today Token Collector.

Im just helping folks clear up how tyhis works. as Blizz was not very clear.

Once you get the achievement
It unlocks 2 tokens from completing a Random Timewalking Dungeon, and 2 tokens from completing the Codex of Chromie Scenario and these are repeatable/spammable.

Additionally the bosses in Blackrock Depths raid are dropping tokens including the mini-bosses. -This is the current fastest method

Side Note: T2 sets get cheaper as you buy them 1 reduces them to 40 and 2 reduces them to 20

ok thanks - couldn’t figure out what was repeatable. So all my characters should do chromie each week.

Probably best off doing the brd bosses and switching alts, 2 tokens for the other 2 feels like a time waste

My internet has been bad since the patch. Don’t think I want to try raids or dungeons with the ability lag I am getting

Then I guess just codex for you? Seems like tw at all would be a bad idea lol

My worst fears become true… spaming the codex of chromie was actually a thing.

Can I just spam BRD or is that still once per week drop?

If you have the achieve you can on multiple toons :sunglasses:
I havent tried doing it twice on the same toon yet

Do they drop 1 per boss?

The bosses only drop tokens the first time you do them, they don’t drop anything if you repeat the same wing, at least not in LFR.

The non-boss mini-bosses still drop 1 token on a repeat wing.

I guess that’s only useful for doing them on alts.

It sounds like having alts is a bonus

i have my 3rd set today lol
but yea after the 60 and 40 the others was easy the awaken the machine and the mega quest in the first zone gave 8 tokens and the wax globs for 8 tokens also

Nah with the token buff this week you can get 4 T2 Revamp sets a week. Starting next week at the T2 20 Token Price Point. Everyone should get 2 sets today if just playing 1 toon

If you wanted to go the single character route. Im doing that just myself because Im lazy

I’m just shy of getting my 5th, so I’m trying to understand which content I can spam for the last 8 bronze.

did you do awaken the machine collecting the wax thing and the mega WQ?

Yeah

Only thing left from what I can tell is the capture mine, capture tower and 10 arena.
