The thought process was they wanted to test it further fot bugs so the release wouldnt crash.
Wala they found bugs and can disable the content and u can continue to play and complain for not having the rock dwarves yet.

This is BS, people wait, and clear schedules to do these things then you not only disable with no concern for that, but you do not even give a date/time when it SHOULD be back up. Guess this is more of the ‘Soon’ crap where we may see it sometime before the next expansion relase

Christ, this is getting embarrassing for blizzard at this point.
Never in my some 15+ years of playing have i seen them putting out back to back content that is busted and they need to constantly shut down and or do more maintenance with every new addition.

this is the third time I’ve logged in ready to unlock earthen only to be told “jk later maybe”
Early access was SUPER shady about how earthen were presented as a feature,
then only AFTER early access, we were told it’d be a launch feature,
but only AFTER launch were we told “no wait, in a week!”
Well, it’s been a week and now it’s “borked, dunno why but we’ll figure it out at some point thanks for understanding”
the understanding ran out a while ago lmao, now we’re entering the “I pay a sub for this, get your (whoever is running this show, not you personally) crap together” territory at this point honestly

Well the real problem was they first said long ago we were able to do the content to get them at launch. but then they changed it. Like all they had to do was say it wouldn’t be available to the first real next patch. Seriously though they need to stop the timegating. It’s horrible system

Yeah, I can definitely see them wanting to keep under wraps how short it was. Although it wouldn’t have exactly surprised anyone since they’ve all been like that in recent years, right down to the drip-drip release schedule.

Brother this has been my WoW experience for like 6 years now. Im just glad this time around its not 8 hour server queues to log in where the technology “simply doesnt exist” to let players play a game they sub for.
So true. I don’t even plan on playing Tuesdays most of time. However, the fact that other people have it unlocked and can play the content is what is making me mad. If you disable it for the masses, you should disable it for all. No one should be playing them right now

Or better yet, they could put the quests themselves on PTR, but have placeholder text that don’t clarify why you’re doing what you’re doing. Just the kill x mob click on x, then say “placeholder cutscene”. At least make sure the gameplay works.
Man I really hope they aren’t holding off an entire race just because of one corny cutscene.
It’s a lesson to be learned like with early access that you get faster leveling but in this case if you jumped on right after servers came back up you got Earthen and the rest of us have to wait.
