It lasts until the 13th. Have some fun with it. It really does show, sucking the joy out of the event for other people who want to have some fun with it. Even people who have no intention of becoming a zombie are having fun with it. People even have fun with trying to cure the disease from people. Have some fun with it.
Honestly, everyone who has a problem with this event before and now has whittled the game down into something that isn’t a game for them. You don’t play WoW to have fun. It’s a job for you. It’s something, not a game, that fills the empty place in your heart where the joy used to be.

Min maxers have done more damage to WoW classic than Blizzard ever could.

This stuff is fun. It’s the ONE WORLD EVENT that blizzard ever did and people got mad about. You would think they would have fun with it this time around

Wow that’s rich. If you enjoy making others not being able to play the game congrats you’re a sadist just like this event was designed for.

It’s true. I’ll admit it. I’ve lost my mind because of zombies and queues. My mind is a bubbling hot soup of revenge, cruelty, irreconcilable hatred for large swaths of the populace in WoW, and how best to incorporate medieval-style torture contraptions in administering justice to anyone that is a zombie, remote logs in, or tells me to go play retail. It is now a moral imperative that these criminals should suffer profoundly at the hands of our justice system.
It’s not very on brand for me, I was once a very rational, open minded, and empathetic person in game. Just a couple of months ago, I would have let my opposition to the Death Penalty temper my suggestions for what do with Blizzard, now I fantasize of decorating a lamp post in stormwind with tbeircarcass, left there for the crows (for reference, this is kind of how Mussolini went out).
But, then again the game that I love and call Home is currently being destroyed by a manchurian controlled capitalists by our most dangerous foe as our own playerbase watches, self-enriches, and/or abets. So you’re going to have to forgive me my madness, it’s a unique time in classic wow.

I feel like they should have added some sort of bonus for participating in the event. Then maybe people wouldn’t hate it so much.
Like, make it so cleansing people or killing zombies gives you XP or tokens that can be exchanged for items.
People are mad because the zombies are stopping their character progress. Make it so interacting with the event also progresses your character in some way, and it would probably be more fun for more people.

Agreed. The event is great.
Every time I see someone complaining about this event it’s clear that they have no clue how to think outside of the box and they do not play the game for fun. That very much includes reading the replies from the one person in this thread who’s complaining.

This would have been an awesome event, if it had not come at the exact same time as the server Queue raid boss was introduced
Timing may be making people angry, not at the event, but at the fact that they can’t play the way they have been normally playing throughout TBC and earlier.
After you sit, fighting the server Queue Raid Boss for a few hours, wiping over and over you finally get in to get your consumes, raid engineering do-dads you find that you can’t, because the AH guy has fallen over…
Yeah, this is a grief event and normally I think it would be funny for a day or so, but combined with current events with the server population problems it just kinda lost the luster, sad too.
Games are games, people are human, and this too gonna pass lol

If they’re making the event go faster I’m salty. Blizz can’t do anything right apparently

Funny thing is I’ve seen more people complaining about the complainers than I have people complaining about the event
Then again I have spent the last 2 days running around cleansing the disease and preventing people from spreading it so maybe the hate whispers are skewing my perception…

There are legitimate reasons why they ended the original event early…nobody was playing. When that starts this time and you can’t get groups because nobody is logging in do please remember you WANTED this…

Dude this is the original event it would end at the same time. People are just too salty about it. I stand by it they should not end it earlier then og
