I’ve correctly killed Gnar, Igira and Volc on normal without getting awarded the defeat for the legendary quest chain. Further, I’ve tried it on LFG for Gnarl and Igira and still no credit. Please look into it this.

Same. I wanted nothing more than to finish my quest after work and raid with my guild with it. Guild leader is finishing his too, but on the rare portion of it still as well.
Have found the same issue happening time and time again dating back to December.

Same here. Finished the first part last night.
Killed Igira and Gnarlroot and received no credit, despite the beam/debuff remaining active.

Just had same issue.
Must say this is incredibly frustrating to have a legendary questline that just seems designed to waste your time and then get hard stuck due to a bug.

Definitely submitted a ticket and bug reports did all of them multiple times, the quest already takes long enough this is very frustrating.

also the tethercoil rune for the rares is bugged also. you tag the mobs with the item but no taut tethercoil when killed

Just adding that on my first shot at doing this on Gnarlroot, I too got no quest progress on my DK.
I have a twitch clip of this but apparently we can’t post links on the forums? Check twitch pyromelter for clips for the clip of it failing.

Ran into the same issue on eu-servers yeseterday. I am stuck on Volocross now.
There were 3-4 people in my raid with the quest and it didn’t work for all of them.
LFR/Normal mode doesn’t make a difference - I tried both without luck.
Hoping it gets a fix soon.

I did all the need boss’s on LFR normal and heroic and could not get any of them to complete.

Also having this issue, just did LFR, no progression at all. Submitted bug report.

Man i grinded through so much of this questline in the past 24 hours only to get stuck due to a bug that Blizzard isn’t even acknowledging. Like come on, its bad enough im wasting my time playing a game, but wasting my time in LFR surely is the lowest of the low!

Blue post was made on another thread about this issue. Said they’re aware of the issue and would try to update the thread but to check these posts for info. So…

I’m in the same boat, I managed to finish the taut tethercoil item on Wednesday evening, but when I got home from work on Thursday the hotfix had gone through. There is a blue post I just saw acknowledging the issue, which is good news!

Shadowbinding seems to be fixed. Myself and a few other have been able to complete.
Same as Erradion! Got mine done and a few others in the LFR I was in got their completion as well.
If you’re doing Volcoross in LFR, I would recommend putting the rune on a keybind and spamming tab target plus your rune bind right after the knockback. That boss seems to always pull as soon as it’s active due to consecration and other ground effects.
Resurrecting this thread, it’s bugged again.
