To the people who are anti #pulltheripcord

i did, just forgot about that statement. But that kinda falls into the point of balancing. Its hard to balance 4 covenants for every class/spec then also balance the soulbinds which then have conduits that will be ranked and we dont even know the scaling of them yet. For a lot of us, we will choose which covenant would benefit our raid the most. It still isn’t enjoyable but we do it because we don’t want to let people down.

If there actually was a balancing team at Blizzard they’d probably be sweating at all the abilities and passives they’re gonna have to deal with for 2 years. Good thing nobody works in that department. They’d go broke paying them over time.

So looking again I was wrong on the necrolords damage. Looks like they changed it to where you do 50% damage and healing for 10 sec at the end of which you die.

Man even their cheat death is terrible :frowning: Why do they hate the Necrolords so much? You’d think the zombie faction would be the ones with the most powerful cheat death ability.

I honestly feel bad for whatever class gets stuck with the Necrolords because the Class ability itself is so overwhelming compared to the other options. You get bad soul binds and a garbage general and nothing fun to play. I guess it kinda balances out that you get to build abominations though.

dude thats all the covenants ever were though.

I definitely understand the lore aspect, i love the lore of the game and have read every book. So after playing in the beta, sad to say the story does not fit having meaningful choice get you stuck with the ability. since we are friends and help all of the shadowlands factions it would make more sense if we were a mercenary able to take like a portion of all of the covenants four our gain to help them. since all the covenants will work together in the coming raid, why can’t we borrow from all?

if it was “choose how you die and this decides who you align with” that would make more since lore wise atm.

This has been the only argument against it. Its such a terrible argument. “It needs to be a choice for the sake of being a choice”. The biggest nothing argument I’ve ever heard…

It also appears they removed the venethar cheat death into a explode on death. Sorry I got my info wrong on those. I haven’t taken a look at the abilities for the covenants other than Necrolord in awhile.

I’m in a similar position with my monk. I’ve helped my guild push with it and it’s done well, but given the spot that class is in it can use all the help it can get.

I’d be happy with a visual compromise.

They’ve given up on that one for sure :joy:.

i feel so bad for monks. ive played WW and was fun but unless i did 99 parse i felt like i was holding my team back.

The Venthyr still have Thrill Seeker which is probably the best single soul bind any of the covenants have. It’s basically Blood of the Enemy minor without the crit.

I feel that monk pain. I love my enh shaman but at the moment before the tuning pass I am at the bottom of the current dps charts and I just don’t want to let my raid down. Can I get a xpac where enh can be at least middle of the pack?

Thanks for your nothing response! :heartbeat:

I had nothing to work with.

shaman needs love, monk needs love, MM has a bunch of bugs and survival needs to go back range. Rogue needs people to work on them, DH dps needs a niche.

grats priest finally has a cool class design

I actually like melee survival though it wouldn’t hurt my feelings if they changed it back. Though please dont, survival is the only spec I beat out rankings wise right now

I can definitely see that.

Have a lovely day Valathar.

That’s cool. You have no logical reasoning. Its just a selfish stance is all.

I think you’re being overly agressive. They have actually hade reasonable arguments with a few people in this thread, and healthy agreements and disagreements. They may be anti #pulltheripcord, but you seem to be bashing based on one sentence in one post. You’re not helping the cause.

The want to be able to swap covenant abilities is also selfish because we want the system to be easier. We want to not think about what we have and just how to use it. There is a valid reason behind people wanting to remain stuck. I’m not one of them but they are valid
