Have you seen the bit where sometimes the mobs fight each other, and since they follow each other around you get a big portion of the visible area you’re in all in one spot? That sucked.
Ooh Oooh Oooh! What about the bit where sometimes the damage numbers continue to pop up on the screen, but the mobs (and a boss) just stop taking damage seemingly at random? No apparent buffs or anything…the damage just stops coming out of their health.
I really think this is all a beta test for something else.
But I agree with you. I’ve decided I’m just not doing it. Apparently the rest of the game is going to collapse if I don’t, so I won’t be playing after that.
Yeah your right i only read the topic. If you are having issues with the people you group with have them slow down. Are these random people your with ? The tank and other dps should know their limits. If you were alliance I would run you.
Deaths are important to manage. Also you might have to gear more to clear higher than floor 4. I looked at your profile and it seems you logged out in your RP gear.
I actually have been really enjoying the story of the Maw. I like the idea of the time gate that you can only do so much before the Jailer prevents you from doing more it fits into the Lore really well. The dailies and the unlocks are fun. I always try to do the Maw with a group of friends so that we can kill the “rare” mobs more often.
I honestly think that Torghast is my favorite new feature.
I only found one boss like this. It was Maw of the Maw (a sludge that does not split). I was able to get it down (~180 at the time), but I had to throw everything at it. I heard later that you can get him down if you STUN him at about half health. That’s in addition to interrupting Gunks. Apparently it makes him drop stacks of something.
I have done all of this as well and still can’t beat it. he 3 shots my pet and then after i turtle/revive pet/md pet he 3 shots my pet then one shots me.
That means you can’t do layer 5 yet… stick with layer 4. What’s the issue??? There’s no reason you have to accomplish every single thing the moment it is available.
I guess it comes down to what people’s opinions are on what constitutes acceptable balance. I know you’re the best player this game has ever seen in your own mind (because you’re not willing to prove that you’ve done the content we’re talking about), but if 100 people say its hard and you’re up here on an alt going “LOL EZ” guess what? I would trust their opinions a bit more.
just do 2s man. people think the harder it gets the more people u need. its not a raid. i find healing 5 man groups in torghast stupid as hell and i wont even go. in fact i wont even go with anymore than one extra person. I take a rogue and myself. and thats it. works good. its just so boring /cry like watching some grandma knitting sweaters on netflix…
