I’d be fine with RDF without teleport.
I want an expedited tier of inviting for people who don’t care who they group with and for people who don’t care what dungeon they do. People who just want to do a lot of anything with anybody.
But the teleportation served a purpose, besides convenience, of binding the group to the dungeon they were assigned, instead of the tank being able to hold the group to their preference anyway.
I picture an expanded LFG where if you queue for the ‘anything’ option, like RDF, once your group is formed behind the scenes you are inserted in the party, you are locked out of every other dungeon but the random one for the duration of the group, and there’s a deserter debuff.
but why would a tank ever queue with this method when they can have the run of the gamut? You’d have to offer an incentive like teleportation and eventually just end up rebuilding RDF piecemeal.
No it won’t do without RDF

They listened to their players and made a good choice. That’s not ego. That’s good business. They knew you’d still pay them and they made the game better by ignoring you.
Businesses exist to make money. You’re here paying them. They won.
No! Of course not! Pay attention to everything they’ve said. On the topic of RDF, they do not have plans to add it. They’ve repeated it over-and-over-and-over, every time they are asked. They haven’t even hinted they plan to change their decision.

I got bored and went to look at other threads to see if anyone against RDF had an opinion they wanted to share, and while i come back empty handed on that regard, I can say that Elfz is actually getting torn to pieces in multiple thread all at once. Quite the multitasker indeed.
