On a serious note what a ridiculous, overly sensitive society we live in. I actually just stopped associating with people because of how many I find hold these very mentalities. The very people wanting people to stop making them targets painting targets on their backs, and likewise, segregating themselves further. Its a very strange irony.

Well, the legit answer for this is, back in ye old days, dinners and feasts were opportunitites for nobles to show off thier wealth, so the more bling that could be displayed, the better. Silverware included.

Heck I have 1 fork 1 spoon 1 plate and 1 bowl…I use them for EVERYTHING I live a very minimalist life style.

Then those are the words they should use. Saying that such and such is a lghtqn server indicates ownership and therefore a lack of acceptance of others. Perhaps someone should just make a “Post your inclusive guild and realm here” post. Thats just not how people are playing this out.
