I keep telling the guys I work with about how TBC finally came out how amazing it is we can finally use the class trainers to pick our specs again instead of retail.
I know a ton of my friends were super pumped when they found out about the class trainers. I mean what an amazing, immersive and necessary part of the game!
If it wasn’t for players having class trainers to travel to and respec I know most of my friends would just stop enjoying the game and probably cancel their subs entirely.
Why wouldn’t they use it?
Just because people don’t want something added into the game doesn’t mean that if it does get added they wouldn’t use it. It’s pretty much the world buff argument, why would you purposefully inconvenience yourself.
It’s neither a convenience or a inconvenience. It just allows for a 2nd spec. Nothing more.
if it is introduced I will. But I played TBC and this is not it. This is an SNL parody version of it.
I get SL sucks, but that is the game retailers whined for.
What is funny is that if Blizz listens to the whiners again they will retrace all their steps and in 10 years they will have SL classic and it will suck just the same.
Wotlk was the beginning of the end. Without vanilla, wotlk doesn’t exist, it’s trash. Wotlk was the beginning of the no shame sell out to retail path blizzard chose.
Wotlk has large numbers because of vanilla. WoW has become garbage because of wotlk and the precedent it set. Huge difference.
But dual spec was sick though. Can’t deny that.
Dual spec is for garbage players who don’t know how to talk to other players. It’s only a boon to those who would rather solo.

Tell me how then? Because all it will do is give a reason for players to do more content in the game. What will be negative about this? I gave 2 example of how I personally would use it. How are those negative things and not positive?
I will keep going back to farming honor to keep pvp alive. Without dual spec I would just farm 1 set of honor and then have no reason to go back to BGs.

Pvp in this game is so stupid. Why even play if you care about pvp when there’s 50 other games that do pvp better plastered on Twitch.
Pvp in this game is rock paper scissors macro crap. Guy with better gear wins. Team with better composition wins. Player with rock class beats player with scissors class. There’s expensive pvp items that have a large effect on pvp that you don’t have that the other guy has. Pvp in this game is a joke, get a life.
Then why do you care if I can dual spec with a pvp spec? It doesnt effect you since ur not doing pvp.

You never played vanilla at all because it was the last patch of vanilla.
You aren’t playing TBC right now… you are literally playing like the almost prepatch for Wotlk.
Only changes they make are little minor ones that require little effort.
They dont even want to do this, at alo… because in their hands all their efforts in shadowlands was amazing… when it really wasnt… its just a story that was made by the same people that built a culture around mental superiority over others within the company

The old WoW was built around Lore and DND ideas… something at a level that people studied and enjoyed…
Disableing in raids would be an option. But is it really necessary?
Dual spec is already in the game.
Our guild is already having a few players hearth, respec, then summon tgem back in sime boss fights in kara. Dual spec just makes it easier which is exactly what we are asking for.
But, for what you are talking about, more ppl would be doing it and doing it more often. And this is what i mean about who cares. We can already beat the fight. Does it really matter that a mage wanted to do a little more aoe damage and switched specs? Again, if it was necessary to get past the boss, guilds would already be doing it.
If dual spec was not already in the game then this is a valid concern. But it is already available. The issue is not dual spec vs no dual spec. Its easy and free vs vs stupid time waste and pay 50g.
if you’re interested in two different specs, those are things you still have to do whether dual spec exists or not…
