Players switching between specs frivolously to min max every perceivable situation in the game will not affect other players.
There will be no effect.*
*For retail players that play MMOs like singleplayer games that would enjoy filling multiple roles in one character (singleplayer) instead of joining a guild or grouping up with others to actually engage in content in a cooperative setting that having only 1 spec allows to thrive, solving their situation in game by playing with others instead of pressing a button and changing their characters capabilities.
Yeah OK. Don’t use it. Right.
When someone posts something about separating the community into those that do and those that don’t we are retracing the very steps that lead to retail.
History is repeating itself.
It’s almost like we have years of data of retail features and their effects and results on the game.
And then it’s like we used that data to come to a conclusion that classic should be different than retail by not adding retail features to it.
Who cares about using common sense? We need moar instant gratification. If healers can’t farm and dps can’t switch to haphazardly tank dungeons once a week, why the hell are we even playing this game? We need to be able to solo more. This is an MMORPG, give us the ability to solo more.
Dual spec was added in during WOTLK and that was the most popular version of WoW, with the most subs and widely regarded as the peak of WoW… Theres ur data. Now use it and put in dual spec.
