I am not telling them what to do. Y’all need to work on some reading comprehension. Don’t put words in my mouth.
I’ve just made an observation how a spriest or a ret pally can singlehandedly increase their win rate in PuGs. As a spriest, you can’t exchange a warrior in your group for a holy paladin. You can’t control other people. THE ONLY THING YOU CAN DO IS CHANGE WHAT YOU ARE DOING YOURSELF.
And by far, the biggest contribution you can make is to start healing.
Ouch, you make me feel like my best contribution to any group is to just be a sitting duck. As a paladin, spell lock is effectively a stun that can’t be bubbled. PUGs are extremely hit or miss on peels and priests and shaman are dispel crazed. I can’t heal. I get one or 2 heals off before I start getting shut down and finally removed from the fight. My life bar is simply a bigger priest bubble that gives rage before they move on to another target.
If there are at least 2 more healers I am happy to eat those interrupts for them though.
Oh muh Gawd, he is defending backpadaling, what a newb!!!
Don’t take snippets out of context. As you can easily see from the very last sentence you strategically chose not to include, those steps aren’t “orders” but instructions how to increase your winrate.
Shadow priests are one of the strongest pvp specs in the game. Lol just because you don’t have a pocket healer doesn’t mean someone else is bad Maybe you should stop leeching and play a class/spec that is more team friendly and less zug zug too? See I can do it too. Lol
LOL! Semantics… You came in here, trying to be insulting, telling other people how to play the game so that it suits YOU. And now you want to pretend none of that happened…
Except being a healer on such an unbalanced team. Pugs are for when you are just feeling too lazy to communicate. Or, too dysfunctional by yelling in chat insults and demeaning language.
Have you ever tried healing a PuG in a BG? Healing these mages with 2k health, wars with 3.5k health in leather? Honestly waste of time when you’re decked out in BWL epics and an Ashkandi, i bring the pain.
I toss heals after the dust settles, or if it’d be beneficial to the fight like riding up on a 2v1 with no chance of them interrupting the heal and thats good enough.
They’re arguing about premades vs. pugs, not which specs are and aren’t viable. I’m sure a premade isn’t scared of a few holy priests/paladins on the uncoordinated pug team they’re facing.
