So this will be small potatoes to a lot of people but for me tomorrow’s vault will be a big deal to me, as much as a game can be a “big deal.”
I have 8 characters with a full row or 616 gear from doing Delves, I get the thrill and the frustration of opening vaults and playing the mini lottery 8 times.
Why is it a big deal, because previously I’d play one or two tanks in M+ to a decent level to get good gear but everyone else blank. In dragonflight it improved with heroic dungeons giving vault slots so my alts could get crappy gear or tokens but still was kind of meh. Now thanks to delves all my tanks, a healer and even a dps csn look forwards to one piece of pretty cool get tomorrow… maybe lol

Hell yeah. I’m sharing the same excitement thanks to delves. Albeit on a smaller scale. Haven’t gone hard on alts just yet. But it feels great to enjoy real progression in my casual little corner.

Very nice!
I have 3 80s and they all have a full tier 8 delve vault. I look forward to opening them all.

got my shaman up to 80 today and did 4 t8 delves @ 571. hopefully something drops. That makes 4 80’s with 616 slots now.
Very nice. It’s cool that you are enjoying them.
Me too. I am still being upgraded by Delves. But every week, my chances of getting upgrades from them is diminishing. That’s why I am starting to open other Upgrade paths… like M+. I should be able to beat M+7 by the time Delves cant upgrade me anymore.
One step at a time. I am not in a hurry.

It isn’t that bad, Zekvir counts as a tier 8 and once you have the the fight down it’s quicker than most other delves and more enjoyable for me than the water ones, etc

Sorry I should have added it was done through Zekvir, the fight only takes about 5 minutes so you’re filling your vault in less than an hour… with better gear I think it would be half an hour.
There are people that spend half an hour or more per mythic dungeon
Ikr…?
Someone been putting in some SERIOUS overtime lol. I’m happy they’re having fun tho.

Yet, there are some people who think that the loot will be undeserved

I just hope I either get a new piece of tier or at least a piece of Hero track gear I can upgrade into a new piece of tier.
That way I can keep on working towards that 4 set bonus.

I dunno, I got 8 characters a full vault in the time some people spend getting 8 mythic dungeons done on one character.
That’s why I’m enjoying delves at the moment

You are a better player than I, that’s for sure!
I’ve only tried Zek twice, T7, and got my pink ponytails all singed and splattered with my perfect Gnome blood, and other, assorted, squishy bits.
I’m a little bit higher now, but not 600, so maybe I’ll try again.

I haven’t done on a lock, but general advice is slow and steady… except for the add. Save dps cooldowns for the add egg, dodge stuff and repeat repeat repeat lol
yea, I just have memories of being in a frontal, getting out of the way, then being in another frontal, but for some reason I was slowed – and got murdered.
I’ll just have to try it again.

A friend and I found that there’s a fungal folly scenario that you can get pretty close on if you can’t do Zekvir consistently and have friends.
If you catch the one with the explorers, three of them are non-combat challenges and there’s a lot of skippable stuff.
With a group of 3+ people, you can skip the first pack since there’s no objective on that platform, group up on the first explorer who has a combat challenge, then split up.
Have a hunter go camo, then jump on the mushroom to get to the fishing challenge and feign death if they got spotted by the stealth detecting elite, then do the fishing challenge, rejoining the group.
Have someone go do the mirror image identification challenge in the center.
Have a third person jump up to the second half of the delve and go fight the enemies there. There are spores you can blow up for bonus DPS. Then go do the running in rings challenge.
Once someone’s done their challenge they can go head up to the last combat challenge area and start on it while the others are still doing theirs/running back to regroup.
Then you can skip the mid-platform enemies and run straight for the boss, bloodlust and burst it down.
With two people one friend and I managed to get it to about an 8 minute run. I’m fairly sure that a third person would shave quite a bit of time off since I wouldn’t have to do the mirror image challenge before moving to the ring one.
