Looking for a bit of guidance from players that know the game way better than me. Here’s the why:
I haven’t played retail pretty much since Classic debuted. I have a title I’d like to wear in Classic, and my bit of research indicates that title is account-wide. Am I correct that updating and then logging into retail will then allow me to choose from that greater list of account -wide titles, or is there some else I need to do or be aware of? I have no intention of playing retail, and frankly don’t even remember what level I was when I stopped (100? 110?).
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Are you suggesting that there may be a way to use titles you have in Retail on your MoP characters?

Thanks Snipy, but I’m not really suggesting it as you describe. I’m more wondering if titles I earned in retail can be worn by my mop classic toon. And if so, how to go about it.
I figure if a title is account-wide, wouldn’t that be the same account? Or am I looking at it from the wrong perspective?
OK. Seems like maybe we are just having some text miscommunication. That’s exactly what I thought you were suggesting, and what I attempted to ask if you were.
As far as I know, it is not possible.
Unfortunately nothing is shared between MoP Classic and Retail so you won’t be able to use a title that you have in Retail on MoP.
Anything that’s listed as account-wide just means it’s shared across your characters for that version of the game, not across all versions of WoW.

No way to do this as far as I know and since they are different games I doubt there will ever be a way to do this unless characters are allowed to transfer to Retail.
In theory Blizzard could expand the concept of Warband to cover all variants of the game but this would be exceedingly unlikely and exceeding undesirable for the game and for Blizzard. It would reduce or even eliminate purchase of Tokens and many other things outside of WoW Retail.
