And I probably won’t, but you said I never did “instanced” content. And you keep looking up my achieves as if that proves something. I’m not sure what it proves, but you’re sure it means something significant or you wouldn’t keep posting about it.
Why do these threads always come across like lowkey gatekeeping?
This is probably a troll thread anyway. Notice how the OP intentionally misrepresents the system with a huge exaggeration and hasn’t made a single response since his first post.
I didn’t get any of it from mythics. What does that prove?
You have a point there .Just look in this thread competitiveness is here.It looks let they want to weed out those players that don’t which will be the fall of wow.
oh please check that narcccism of yours. no ones looking at your achievements or cares about them (or lack of)
i guessed you hadn’t done anything instanced and turns out i was right.
I don’t know where you have been since Legion, but gear is barely a form of character progression. I would say mounts and transmog offer better character progression than gear atm.
It proves that WoW has a really bad gear reward system since it rewards people for doing next to nothing.
Gear doesn’t mean anything anymore Sorc, neither does level. There are other add ons that track what you’ve done and if you don’t have those addons or have a low score then getting into content is much harder. There is no real progression anymore, you’re either a have or have not.
I’m sure people like the super competitive and timed design of m+ and PvP that isn’t gear heavy, but most don’t and that is apparent with the mass exodus of the player base. The game feels like a game where you do matches and get RNG rewards for it, instead of a living breathing world MMO, and I hope they change course on this.
I’m sure you’ll deny this but it really doesn’t matter so long as the game keeps falling apart.
Um, you’ve been looking up what I do in the game. That’s essentially the same thing.
Dungeons are instanced last I knew, and I most definitely do dungeons, so I truly don’t understand what you’re on about.
That was my alt. It’s actually a great example. When you win the lottery, it doesn’t always mean you get the top prize. You can still win smaller rewards with the odds being better when you buy a ticket.
i made an assumption based on ur post count and content of it. funny how often those two overlap.
and i figured it was obvious we’re talking about raids and m+ but ik you types need to be technically correct and can’t resist saying AKSHUALLY
I’m not trying to call you out but this character you just posted on is a prime example of my whole point. You are sitting at an ilvl equal to a heroic raider and you’ve done exactly zero challenging end game content on that character.
That just about sums this whole thread up.
This is absolutely true. But the problem isn’t what WoW gives me, it’s what WoW doesn’t give players who do harder stuff.
And I don’t do “next to nothing”. I play the game like anyone else. Blizzard has their stupid ilvl scaling, so the only way I can get more powerful against the monsters I fight is to for them to give me better gear. If they got rid of the damned scaling they could get rid of all the “forging” garbage. And they should be giving even better gear as rewards for the harder content, but they’re not, and that’s stupid.
No, not really. Some people would just like gear progression, instead of geaRNG. You know like the more difficult content you complete the better rewards you get, like say…pretty much every RPG ever made.
Or maybe, just maybe, they should stop handing out gear like that to players who do no challenging content in the first place? By doing so would make the rewards from challenging content that much more sought after.
False analogy
Attack the player. That never wins an argument.
if you think scaling is in any form relevant at this point in the expansion, im not sure what to say other than you couldn’t be more wrong.
thinking it has any impact on your world questing is about as stupid as “their stupid ilvl scaling”
It wasn’t an attack on you, it was an attack on the pathetic system we have in WoW. You’re character that you’re posting on is a prime example. But if the shoe fits, then wear it.
