Yeah, that’s a really good point.
I can definitely imagine a world where every Tinker playable race gets an mech/exosuit/turret themed after their race’s machine aesthetic (like Druid forms) and then additionally have customizeable exo/mechs like Moonkin forms. As well as future unlockable appearances for them like Artifact weapon druid forms too.
God that would be so awesome duuuude
STRONG BORRRRED!
sorry.
They also just revealed the Mythic+ Dungeon line up for season 2 and both the Motherlode and Operation Mechagon are returning. That has got to be the most Tinker-coded stuff I’ve ever seen. An entire patch about Goblin machinery featuring returning Dungeons about Mechagnome machinery in an expansion about Titan and Earthen machinery.
Tinker class being a mid-season class reveal would be the biggest bombshell drop ever. But like you also said I’m preparing for a Last Titan reveal. Both seem very appropriate.
To anyone who ever says “the class should fit the expansion theme”, ladies and gentlemen I preset you the world soul saga: a expansion trilogy that looks to be about 66% machine focused and 33% void focused. Never been a better time
BLOODY ************ ***** ***** **** ON A ******** ***** **************
W!
Forsaken would definitely have to have some sort of alchemist/mad scientist theme.
Would be the ultimate send-off for the anniversary, one to never forget. So we know it’ll never happen.
I’ll just have to console myself in the remastered RTS for the time being (forgot how damn hard Orcs & Humans was). Going to replay them all in order, each campaign.
I am just going to assume that Blizzard forgot to include the Tinker class announcement in their latest Warcraft Direct.
Or perhaps they are going to bomb-drop the announcement at a later date, closer to the launch of 11.1!
Because there is just absolutely no way in Fel that we’re going to Undermine and not getting Tinkers.
I mean, imagine having gone to Northrend and not gotten Death Knights, or Pandaria and not gotten Monks. That would be insane, right?
Right… Blizzard?
If they implement a tech class and it doesn’t have cosmetic options for mechs, turrets, robots, etc for at the very least the major tech related races then it’d be a massive failure imo.
I mean… the Tinker Union resides in Undermine, I wonder how they’re going to handle that.
The likelihood seems slim, but at the same time & inversely, the likelihood that they don’t do that is slim too. There’s no way the topic of discussion hasn’t come up and they aren’t well aware of it. I’ve been wanting this class since BC and am very used to holding my breath, but justifiably every expansion up to now hasn’t seemed like “The right time” to bring tinkers in.
But this? My god this is about as perfect for Tinker as WotLK was for DK’s and Legion was for Demon Hunters. Fingers crossed & intertwined like 2 twizzlers rn
Most posters ive read on this topic have seemed to agree that either all races get to be tinker, or all races besides tauren(s), troll(s), night elves, and worgen.
So either way, if the class does come out and they do end up doing racially unique exosuits/mechs/turrets/drones/whatever, I definitely expect undead to get apothecary-looking machinery. Man I’m so excited lol.
My god if Blizzard seriously do all this and don’t give us the Tinker class they are actually taking the mickey, on god.
It’d be like bringing illidan back and blue-balling players with no DH class
Ever since we didn’t get a class for Shadowlands, and then got a class & additional spec in the middle of dragonflight, I’m a true believer that the mold has been broken and anything can happen at any time. I refuse to sleep with both eyes closed. The Tinker is near for sure mate
I didn’t know this but everything I just said x2 now. wow
lmao imagine thinking Blizzard would drop an entirely new class midgame just to match a content patch.
lmao imagine thinking Blizzard would drop an entirely new experimental spec for a new class midgame just to match a content patch
(Augmentation Evoker directly lines up with the Dracthyr’s anecestry to Neltharion and is explicitly why the spec released alongside a raid tier that narratively fit the theme of them discovering this newfound power when we uncover his laboratory and all of his experiments btw).
irrelevant, that’s a third spec they couldn’t drop in time for release for a preexisting class.
They’re not going to whip up a tinker right now out of thin air.
beep boop move goal post when argument holds zero merit
what goalpost? I literally stomped out your non existent argument, DF was marketed entirely around Dracthyr Evokers.
if my argument didn’t exist, how could you have stomped it out
because i’m entertaining you, cope and seethe, the argument is over you got shrekt.
Keep wishing though, while I enjoy my Goblin Hunter.
is that what you say when you’re definitely not mad on the wow forums to every one you disagree with lol
Keep wishing for a class in patch all you want, just know you’re delusional.
