Timewalking now worse than Normal dungeosn at 70+ right before the Anniversary event

The TW dungeon completion bonus is still higher than the bonus for normal dungeons, but overall XP per run is now lower given the reduced XP per mob.

Exactly this.

So I just ran 2 dungeons to get some sample numbers. Level 73, full rested XP. No XP buffs like DMF. 25% bonus XP from having 5 80s.

TW Utgarde Keep (bonus from Finder: 97,800)

• Mobs: 10,006
• Bonus: 123,538
• Total: 133,544

TWW Rookery (bonus from Finder: 65,200)

• Mobs: 114,180 (I dinged 74 near the end)
• Bonus: 94,385
• Total: 208,565 (note: this would probably include higher bonus XP because I levelled)

So this is an imperfect comparison but any comparison is going to be imperfect because it depends on what dungeons you get but the TWW dungeon gives 56% more XP because of the mob XP.

So there’s currently ZERO reason to do TW dungeons other than the weeklies. GJ Blizzard.
