I’ll probably farm some badges on different characters (the 500 token) to make sure I can buy the new tier 2 sets…
I actually just learned this today, to my pleasant surprise. I know the TW raids have been there forever, but I never bothered with them, preferring the dungeons.
I did Ulduar TW because I need some of the tmog and the I only just noticed the reward cache from it. Not only did the RNG gods favour me by giving me two Champion upgrades, but I got the weekly done simultaneously. And I got a Heroic upgrade as well.
I’ll probably never run the TW dungeons at this point if there is a TW raid alternative (unless I’m leveling alts).
Is TW active now?
I don’t think its suppose to be a catch up gear anymore, if anything the added experience means its more of a catch up leveling instead

Good news for everyone:
New timewalking (scaling up now) drops Explorer track gear, at level 80 = 567. A victory to everyone who needs to level alts and fill the gap between normal and heroic.
