not to mention - speedrunning across various RPG’s has been extremely popular for like 2 decades+ now. players speaking out against it are the minority for sure - i’d bet lots of cash on that. Speedrunning content is meta - i saw it even being done in classic wow a few months ago.
i doubt a single blizz dev is going to buy into this anyway. they know what’s up.
if you want a different flavor of dungeon experience, modern wow is def not the game for you, and maybe you should give classic wow a whirl
happy new years
I wouldn’t love it, but that seems to be what the “remove timer” crowd wants.

No you don’t. I feel people say that in GD to be part of some non-conformist circle you like to pretend exists, but in reality, y’all just want to rip right through, max exp/hour.

You say you want dungeons you can go more slowly through, presumably without a timer, and yet, you haven’t done taza’vesh

So what? I’ll do it when there’s a queue. I’m in no particular rush.
ah, so you don’t really have that strong of a desire to do untimed, more difficult content that requires skill with cc/careful single target damage, etc… you know, the dungeon crawl style.
got it.

I might also never do it. I do what I want. I’m far too old to be looking for a challenge.
makes everything feel rushed, scrap em. make the content harder… or novel thought, make it more fun. things dont have to be challenging to be fun.

Don’t forget Tazevesh. It’s actually the dungeon crawl the complainers are looking for.
I never said anything about going slow. My references are to chain pulling speed runs, where toxic people will kick anyone who doesn’t keep up.
You don’t have to go slow. There’s a good pace to move at without kicking people and stressing them out.
I’ve also seen this with new tanks in lowbie dungeons who aren’t moving fast enough for the DPS, who are already pulling half the dungeon, dying and yelling at the tank to stop being slow, then they kick said tank.
Or there are the tanks and DPS who both pull in different directions in lowbie dungeons, people die, yell at the healer who can’t be in more than one place at a time, then kick the healer.
that pace, of course, being… ?

Do people only have two speeds to run a dungeon? Because I’ve absolutely seen paces between breakneck chain pull everything and slower than molasses.
What’s with the black and white viewpoints here? Can no one open up their minds and think objectively? Why is everything an argument? Observationally, people are going to see different things. Let’s try to look at everything and not some narrow view.

that’s what i’m doing. i’m asking what the objectively good pace is that everyone should be following. since it’s objective, clearly we can all agree on what it is… right?
Watching mythic dungeon open is so cringe. Looks so stressful. Hard pass
You’re asking for a number. That’s some sort of black and white, must be this and only this, type of singular response. And that’s not how this works. There is not “gotcha” moment here.
My observations are based on threads here over the years and my own of watching the toxicity of too fast a pace in lowbie dungeons.
People should work with the group and what everyone is comfortable with. If they don’t, then we see less tanks and healers. That’s not some huge revelation. Ask the group what they want to do. Otherwise, people do as I do and don’t tank or heal outside of friend groups.
