I want Torghast to be hard af. Sure, at the end of floor 10 you can open the chest and get whatever rewards they give out.
But after that? Welcome to the pain train kid, you’re in a world of hurt. Another 62 levels to go. Rewards? LMAO, you get nothing. Just the satisfaction that you actually got that high.
Or timers, whatever works
Ya no thanks, if the rewards stop so do I.

A refreshing bit of honesty, I like it
Why not have both timed/not-timed versions, and have the rewards reflect accordingly?
I hate timed content. I’m sure plenty of people love it.
I don’t do Visions because I hate timed content.
I play to relax and escape the stress of RL.
I find timed content stressful.
I have eight 120s. They all have level 1 cloaks. That’s how much I hate timed content.
Even then, while Berserk timers are still obviously a thing, most fights are timers stacked on timers.
Don’t kill the adds fast enough? Now you gotta deal with 2 sets.
Or maybe they’ll do something like they do on Azshara and interact with another mechanic that makes the fight harder.
Or if you’re doing Carapace, and don’t kill the tentacle boils fast enough? Instant raid wipe. If you don’t do P2 fast enough, the boss regens a lot of HP and makes P3 much harder.
And so on.
The idea that timers don’t exist in raids is silly, and the dungeon loot only scales to usable levels because of M+ and it’s timers.
So you could have a Torghast without a timer, but it’d be like M0 or Heroic Dungeons, and offer gear that virtually nobody has a use for because it’s so trivial as content.
Uh, most streamers I have seen…are coming down HARD on Blizzard for these torments. So you are pretty much saying that Blizzard should ignore their input and keep Torghast as it is currently.

Yes, because streamers have different opinions than the community as a whole
How do streamers play Torghast differently from the average player
This is a great and needed change. There was no reason to hang out in there. If you’ve watched any of the streams of that place. Just do big pulls and AOE. To easy
Blizzard already said the threshold for your legendary won’t be that high and that anything pushed super high will be more cosmetic so it’s not something they have to worry about.
Remove the timer blizzard. This paranoia about someone having the audacity to go slow and steady is absurd

Keep the torments blizzard, there won’t be any challenge without them. And also find out a way to make torghast more rewarding

In the Blizzard bluepost they said torments aren’t meant to be challenging and implemented just to counter the waiting for cooldowns playstyle. This assumption some players have where you can’t have challenge without a timer is absurd. If a game can’t be challenging without a timer that means it has failed in design.

You literally can’t have a challenge without a timers other than make it take hours and tune everything like a mythic raid so you can wipe over and over. No thanks.
Thousands of good games do and Blizzard has had great success with no timers in the past. Also some of the challenging encounters in Torghast are designed with soft enrages and big cooldowns in mind. Regardless of timer or no timer these encounters are what would be ending your run and you would be saving your cooldowns for in a timed run anyway. If m+ didn’t have a time limit there would still be a peak which players couldn’t go past. This is such a bad way to design challenge around.

That’s what we wanted when we asked for NO TIMER. If YOU don’t like it tuned like that then go to Mythic Plus and have your hard content that way.
This Tower’s was meant to be invented so that people had a area to play this type of style.
By attempting to add timers to this you ruin it. It would be like removing timers from all mythic plus on you. Basicly you don’t like our types of goodies so you have to make sure that NO one will have em.

Single player games aren’t MMOs. How does this need to be explained to you?
If m+ didn’t have timers every run be 2+ hours, that would suck. I have done some fail timer runs many times on keys that beyond our capabilities and we still managed to get it done but it didn’t feel good

the day a Blizzard employee figures out LOGIC and GOOD ideas will be the day I find a cure for cancer. The only difference is when I find the cure for cancer, I will take it to my grave.

I’m so sorry I ruined a world quest for everyone today. I waited a whole 3 minutes for a cooldown before I pulled it. I really did not mean to ruin your experience I’m just felt like waiting. So Sorry if that 3 min hurt you.
